Lori Steinman did a fabulous job transforming our two 1950s-era bathrooms. She brought us wonderful design ideas, helped us through the entire process (including finding reliable contractors), and was an overall pleasure to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lori for any design job.

We used Lori of Everett Scott designs for a major home renovation of the entire first floor of our home. Her services including helping with the floor layout, space planning, and design; the all LED lighting plan,; the selection of flooring materials, moldings, and trim work; design of new fireplace and windows; paint colors selection; new furniture and decor selection and placement; and placement of artwork and the finishing touches to complete the decor. We cannot believe how gorgeous our house is now and are Very happy. Lori was a lot of fun to work with and we highly recommend her services.

I worked with Lori to design and furnish my family room and was so happy with the results, that I then asked her to help me update my kitchen. From the beginning, Lori understood the “old world” look and feel I was after. She incorporated a fresh, updated aesthetic with an emphasis on functionality and comfort to give us a family room that far exceeded my expectations. Now we really live in this room everyday and love it. The kitchen required a different approach as we were on a tight budget. It was very outdated, but we were not ready to invest in a total remodel. Lori suggested painting the cabinets, adding a frosted glass backsplash, painting the walls, and changing out our existing breakfast room table to one that, while also having the “old world” feel, was updated with a gorgeous two-toned finish. Her choices featured finishes that were perfect for our active family, giving me the hardy, low-maintenance surfaces I needed. Once again, she “nailed it” and we love our “new” kitchen. It was such a delight to work with Lori. She was very responsive to my ideas, creatively incorporated them into the project, and has a knack for solving tricky problems. Her eye for color is outstanding and she taught me a thing or two about scale! She can work within the budget and deliver a beautiful room and…we are thrilled!
