“Caroline is the best organizer in the DC area! She was very patient and kind with my mother who has early dementia. They downsized her things before relocating to an assisted living home. She took items to the dump and packed everything in boxes with labels ready to go for the move. I truly appreciate all that she did and my mother loved working with her.”

“Pam Holland of Mindful Decluttering and Organizing is a professional's professional. She originally came to help us with a home project in early 2011, and we were so pleased with her work that we arranged for her to come twice a month from then on to tackle other projects. In 2013, she had a major hand in helping us clean out, organize, and move out of our home of 30 years, and one year later, she did the same thing again in anticipation of our move abroad, which involved preparing, numbering, inventorying, and boxing every single item that we intended to go on our shipping container overseas! Our 2 moves also involved organizing and preparing for 2 different estate sales, which we could not have managed without Pam's expertise. Pam is courteous, kind, and is an excellent listener who creates a very safe space for her clients. Her people skills are fully matched by her professional skills that involve how to organize and tackle a job of any size or type, and how to immediately find out anything that she doesn't already know. She is extremely creative and never seems to run out of ideas, which are often brilliant. She also has more patience than almost anyone I have ever known! She keeps her mind on all levels of details and yet never loses sight of the big picture. She knows how to keep her clients focused and on task, but in a gentle way that makes one feel inspired to work along side her. She also she keeps up with the latest innovations in her field. Pam is fearless in the face of any task, which inspires a comforting sense of confidence to her often overwhelmed clients. In addition to keeping me sane through 2 moves, I learned to trust Pam with any and all aspects of my physical space. She respects and honors her clients and their wishes while discretely helping them to make needed changes in their personal habits that created the need for her to be there in the first place! It is not an exaggeration to say that my husband and I would not be happily ensconced in new our home in South America, surrounded by just the right selection of our personal possessions if it had not been for Pam Holland of Mindful De-cluttering and all of the amazing support, encouragement, ideas, and hard work she made available to us when we most needed it. I cannot highly enough recommend Pam's professional services for absolutely any organizational or decluttering projects anyone may have! “Ace of Spades spent four hours helping me identify many items for disposal. The four hours were well spent, and the two ladies' professionalism and helpful hints made a huge difference in my goal to reduce items substantially, as I have been back in my house since 1993, and that is 25 years of build-up. Over half the time was spent in the basement, where all my storage and accumulation was placed, and that is where the effort was most needed. Second came the kitchen and the master bedroom. After the four hours, they filled their own vehicle to the max, then engaged a service that came the following day to handle the larger items. This was four hours very well spent, and I highly recomment them to anyone in need of reorganizing their household items.”
