Kelsey and company were brought on board to one of our projects in Manhattan Beach, our client wanted to mesh her passion for sustainability and gardening and the coastal native vegetation of California, needless to say Kelsey went above and beyond our expectations. Kelsey and her team are excellent, very professional and do beautiful wood. They go above and beyond with all of their clients. There is always an amazing 3D render of the project, so it is very easy to understand the vision for the project. We helped our daughter purchase a home in Redondo Beach in 2017. The backyard was a visual eyesore for two years...then we made an appointment with K. Fair Landscape Design. Ryan and Kelsey have an uncanny organic sense of space and potential. They met with our daughter 3 times, each time defining her vision. They realized that the plans had to be able to "grow" over time, adding a bbq, possibly a remodel. Where should gas lines, electrical and water be 5 years down the road? When we had questions, they were immediate in their response. They facilitated a relationship with Eco Outdoor, and Thomas hooked us up with the most beautiful Garonne modular limestone you have ever seen. It was a seamless transition from rubble to serene garden space. Our daughter loves her backyard, as do we all. Hiring K. Fair Design was the best home improvement decision we have ever made. We have worked with Kelsey on numerous projects and have seen exceptional results every time. Finding the right company to landscape is a daunting task. I found dozens of design companies in existence. However, when reviewing their past work, they appeared to produce the exact same look over and over or they were only interested in large projects. Since I have a small beach city home and was looking for a unique and artsy design, I was skeptical to pick a design firm. Then I came across K Fair Landscape. Truly awesome. Working with Kelsey Fair was an amazing process for our family. We say process because while the final outcome of our backyard has exceeded all our expectations. it is the process that stands out to us. From beginning to end Kelsey listened to us and helped us dream up a vision for our backyard that encompassed the plant materials (she knows so much about plants) , the hardscaping, the lighting, the irrigation, and the furniture. We had no idea what to do with our small and shady backyard. We knew we wanted it to feel like an extension of our living space that we could use every day but had no idea how that could happen. Kelsey helped come up with a design that did exactly this and seamlessly coordinated the install with her landscaping and lighting, masonry, and fencing and decking colleagues. Kelsey is a true artist and surrounds herself with professionals that are masters in their craft. The centerpiece of our new backyard is a custom water feature. It was fascinating to see this feature move from inception in our heads to translation by Kelsey into design, and finally to life by a team of master craftsmen. It is truly stunning! We found Kelsey easy to work with. We hired her to design a quarter acre plot, north, south, east and west, as our land had no prior vegetation. She has tremendous energy and enthusiasm and many ideas. She listened well to our specific needs and goals. She tailored her recommendations to the particular constraints of our land and our desire to use low-water, low-maintenance, and native plants where possible. She walked us through the process of creating a design, suggesting a plot survey and suppliers where we could browse potential construction and plant material options. Her 3-D rendering made it easy to visualize the end result. Her detailed 2-D drawings facilitated easy installation of the electrical, gas, plumbing and landscape design components. Kelsey has a good eye for color, texture, and balance, with an added element of whimsy, when desired. We would hire her again for a future project.

I am amazed at the design skill Kelsey demonstrates in her designs. She has an amazing understanding of types of plants, their colors, textures and contrast of style. She is the whole package in terms of plants, Irrigation, barbecues, furniture, pergolas, outdoor living spaces and style. She is the South Bay’s most relevant landscape designer and I give her my highest recommendation.

We hired Kelsey to make our yard work as usable space. We have a very strange layout and hand only vague ideas about what we wanted — Kelsey took our vague mumbles and turned that into a beautiful design that delivered everything we were looking for and more. She heard what we told her about our budget, and came with great ideas of her own. She was then able to put us in touch with craftspeople who did beautiful work to realize her vision. Now we have a space that looks terrific and feels great to be in. Kelsey is amazing and I would recommend her services to anyone.

K. Fair turned our rooftop deck into a jaw dropping oasis. Kelsey is super easy to work with, she came up with some amazingly creative solutions to some of our rooftop concerns. When it came to production, we were pleasantly surprised at how professional everyone was and they created a space that we couldn't be happier with. Thank you Kelsey and Co!!

Kelsey Fair Design did our backyard deck, fire pit, planters, built-ins, pergola and plantings. Kelsey is talented and has a great eye for design with some whimsy (if you want it)! She is so easy to work with and will do what it takes to make your project right. Kelsey always focusses on the positive and has a very sunny disposition.
