Having Tom Flynn, owner of Flynn High Performance, LLC, in my home to replace a 3-panel patio door was an excellent experience. Tom is always courteous and pleasant. He aims to please and is a perfectionist about his work. Because Tom knew I dreaded having my awning removed in order to put in the new door, he went the “extra mile” to install the door without removing the awning. Tom always texted me about his ETA. Tom is fair with his pricing. I’ll look forward to having Tom again when I have another project.

I recently hired Flynn High Preformance to rebuild a sunroom. From the beginning the owner Tom was upfront and honest with his time lines and cost . After checking his references as well as his insurances and licensing I was pleasantly impressed. Tom handled all the ordering of materials and supplies on schedule. Tom , worked mostly alone and was the utmost responsible on the job site. He always ensured the property was well secured and taken care of in my absence. Tom I can honestly say is a true carpenter and perfectionist ! The project came out perfect and I look forward to working with him again !

Tom's done a great job with our home. We essentially gutted the interior, redoing the floors, kitchen, and two bathrooms. It was a large, complicated project (size itself, plus we were at our primary home during the entire renovation), but Tom was professional throughout the entire process. He's knowledgeable, trustworthy, and dependable. Communicates very often. His work is high quality and he uses subcontractors that have similarly high standards. Always had our best interests in mind. We're very happy with his work - he's totally changed our home and we're grateful for it. Plan to use him for additional projects on the exterior and would highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Tom for contractor work on Cape Cod! He recently did a basement remodel for us (along with a few other things that we discovered needed fixing along the way!) and we couldn’t be more pleased. He was very responsive and communicative, did meticulous work, and gave us several options in how to tackle our project. After researching and reviewing the work of several contractors on the Cape, I hired Tom Flynn of Flynn High Performance, LLC to do a complete remodel of my unfinished basement. In addition to working with me on the design, Tom did an excellent job working through logistics and problem-solved his way around mechanical systems that could not be moved. It was a pleasure to work with Tom at every stage of the project. I was particularly impressed with his timely communication at every step of the process – including sending daily progress photos when I couldn’t be on site. In the end, the basement came out beautifully, met all my expectations, and was completed on time and on budget. Tom did such an excellent job on the basement that I later hired him to install a storm door, new hood vent above the stove, and door bell. I wholeheartedly recommend Tom and would gladly hire him again.

Tom took over a tricky basement redo and dealt with everything from drawing plans to getting all the applicable Building Departments from electrical to plumbing and all in between to sign off which is no small feat in the Town of Barnstable. Just as important Tom was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive to inquiries and explanations that a laymen would understand. Also, he was very trustworthy.

Tom did a great job framing and installing an insulated steel door at the base of our bulkhead stairs. He adjusted the original plan to maximize headroom while optimizing safety as you descend the stairs into the basement. He also made sure to add additional insulation to eliminate any drafts. The result is a significantly warmer and more comfortable basement not to mention the added security of having a locked door with a deadbolt. Tom was easy to work with and a true professional. I would definitely use him again and would enthusiastically recommend him to others just as he was recommended to me.

Tom, was an amazing resource for our exterior renovation project and as the general contractor for an extensive driveway project, which included planing, permitting, tree removal, excavation and design. Tom was instrumental with his design ideas and creative thinking in order to limit project costs. Tom was honest, very hard working and kept us updated each step of our renovation and driveway project. There was a lot more work to the renovation than originally planned. His work was thorough and he communicated anything he found that needed repair. He went above and beyond to complete a very challenging project Overall, Tom was excellent to work with and I would definitely use Flynn High Performance LLC on our next project.

We needed extensive work done to properly support a large deck - during the project, areas of wood rot were discovered which needed to be removed and repaired. Tom was expert at understanding what the problems were and working very hard in the heat of summer to correctly repair everything. If you have a project you want done correctly (including proper permits), I would recommend Tom to you. Lastly, he's just a good person, in my opinion - reliable and hard working.

Tom is a conscientious craftsman who goes the extra mile to get the work done correctly, accurately and according to code. He did an excellent job on the restoration and reconstruction of the corner of our house where an incorrectly installed roof had caused water damage and rot. Tom removed the old roof, siding and sheathing to assess the extent of the damage; replacing all damaged materials with new. He also reinforced the deck ledger board and replaced an undersized post and footer so that it was safe and met current code requirements. During times when I was out of town, he kept me updated on progress with photos so that I could see the work progressing forward. He left the job-site clean when he was completed. I'd highly recommend Flynn High Performance!

We hired Flynn High Performance to do a complete overhaul on a recently purchased home. This project included removing a load-bearing wall, opening a thruway in another room, partitioning a study from an oversized bedroom, completely remodeling the kitchen, updating a half bath and building a new master bath! We hired Tom Flynn of High Performance LLC to insulate our sunroom converting it to a year-round sunroom. Not only is Tom a nice guy to work with he guided us on every phase of the project giving us options, opinions and recommendations. The project encompassed Tom installing insulation panels in the ceiling which proved to be extremely difficult to install due to having to work around the support beams. He also installed a shiplap ceiling and actually found it on sale which helped reduce the material costs. In addition, he replaced 3 sliders, installed a new picture window and flooring. When we ordered the sliders and picture window, he was with us to select the materials ensuring appropriate quality levels and correct sizing. We were extremely pleased with renovations of two bathrooms at our home. The workmanship was excellent and the job was completed on time. Thomas was also very helpful with suggestions and was a good listener as we talked about what we were looking for. The job consisted of a full gutting of the baths followed by new tube/shower tilling , floor tiles and the installation of vanities , medicine cabinets and all plumbing fixtures. From start to finish the job went smoothly with much credit going to Mr. Flynn for his flexibility and professionalism. We would not hesitate to use Mr. Flynn in the future.

Tom replaced three windows in our house for us. We found him to be a very personanable, hard worker who did an excellent job. The weather was awful - cold, damp & sometimes even rainy & a lot of the work was outside. He was cheerful throughout the project. He even covered the daffodils that were popping up early with a bench so he wouldn't accidentally step on them. When he was finished with the project, he cleaned up & vacuumed the rug. I will be hiring him again in a few months for another project!

I've known Tom Flynn since I bought my home on the Cape over 10 years ago. Since that time Tom has done many home improvement projects for me, including replacing all of the original windows, new shingles for the entire house, replacing the insulation in the basement ceiling, and replacing patio door with a French door. His workmanship is always first-rate and most importantly he provides written contracts that outline not only the work and costs but the timeline for when he will start and finish. No surprises.
