G Family Construction & G Design

G Family Construction did an excellent job on our 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, and office addition. What made the difference was working with people who genuinely care about their work. Dave, the owner, visited every other week to monitor progress and make sure things were done right. He puts clients first and runs his business with integrity. When decisions came up, he always considered what was best for us, not just what was easiest for his company. Dani, our project manager, kept everything organized and on schedule. She handled the logistics smoothly and made sure we were always informed. Franklin, the foreman, ran the job site professionally and kept the crew working efficiently. Juan, their tile expert, is a magician. His craftsmanship on the bathrooms and floors turned out beautifully. They also work with excellent subs—Anthony the plumber was skilled and reliable, which matters when you’re adding a full bathroom. They finished on time and within budget with transparent billing. The team was flexible when we needed last-minute changes, and we got through the remodel without the typical construction headaches. I’ve already recommended them to friends. Solid work from good people.

We were so fortunate to work with G Family for our full home remodel (and I mean FULL: it was brought down to the studs). From start to finish, we were beyond impressed with their professionalism, and their craftsmanship is next to none. Jon had so many clever ideas we were able to incorporate in the plan, and was really able to understand the needs of us as his clients. The entire team is very organized and communicative, and made us feel very at ease while undergoing this massive project. Home remodels are nothing short of stressful, but the team at G Family communicated seamlessly with everyone involved, from designers to city planners. I can honestly say that this process was not at all stressful with Jon at the helm (and the amazing Zach leading the charge for our fantastic yard!). Should the opportunity arise to work with G Family again, I would not hesitate. Our home, and our yard, are simply spectacular.

The G Family performed the redesign/build of our front porch and yard, including a complex array of structural, electrical, plumbing and other considerations. They adapted as needed when there were curve balls and were pretty much unflappable. The plant varieties and installation is gorgeously arranged and functional. The total result exceeded our expectations and they could not have been easier to work with—professional, proactive communicators, and 100% reliable. G is for gold-standard!

We were profoundly impressed by the dedication exhibited by G Landscape Design throughout the entirety of our backyard project. Whether it was during the initial introduction and consultation phase with Dago and Zach, the project oversight provided by Miguel, or the day-to-day supervision under Angel's purview, our journey was seamless. G Landscape Design consistently made us feel like their utmost priority. The crew was punctual at the worksite every day regardless of the weather conditions that converged on Marin County during the spring. It was a great surprise to witness the project's conclusion, a full two weeks ahead of the anticipated schedule. Lastly, the billing process and the transparent cost breakdown were straightforward and user-friendly. We are beyond satisfied with the final product and endorse G Landscape Design without reservation and offer them our highest commendation.

G Family is a best in class, highly efficient, and top quality company. We hired them to do a full home remodel and they delivered on-time and on-budget. We made several changes throughout the project, but that never phased them and it never slowed them done. They were quick and efficient despite managing our project during the COVID labor and resource shortage environment. Their crew is kind, respectful, thoughtful, and considerate. They were always here on time and finding things to do when they were waiting on deliveries or inspections, etc. I highly, highly recommend them. They are a hidden gem in Marin County. Top quality work at an affordable price, while maintaining positive attitudes and an overall warm and friendly atmosphere.

This firm is flat out amazing. We just had them back for our third renovation project with them and the results are just perfect. I really respect their work ethic, cleanliness and the level of care and detail that they brought to our job. They deliver a high quality of work for a very fair price. I also always appreciate how transparent G Family is with their costs and invoicing. Despite the pandemic, they delivered a wonderful finished project (2 decks, new exterior stone staircase, stone patio and an entire 3rd floor reno with master suite, closet, bathroom), safely. Their team was very professional, and they followed very careful covid protocols to protect everyone who was working onsite. In a year that’s been absolutely crazy (take that 2020!), they were rock solid. It is always a pleasure to work with Jon, Dave and their entire crew. I fully recommend them, our foreman Kirk, and all their team for your construction work.

Fantastic. Hired them to do a master suite remodel on our home in Mill Valley. Great design team. Great construction team. Great everything. Even the billing dept. was a pleasure to deal with --- how often can you say that. Very reasonable prices by Marin County standards. Would not hesitate to use again.

Absolutely fantastic company! Zach went above and beyond his scope every day to help use install a new backyard before our son's wedding. They worked through bad weather, tricky decisions and changing conditions. Thank you so much!!!!

Clean, kind, helpful family run business. I could not recommend more. Hired to rebuild a staircase for us and worked long hours to get it done quickly. Jon was there to oversee the entire project and did was super polite and pleasant. Stairs look amazing and Misty most importantly passed inspection!

G Family Construction are nice people who are easy to talk to. They listened to my ideas and gave me some additional ideas which improved my plan. An additional window was installed and two French doors replaced old sliders and single door. Additional carpentry work for cabinets, etc. On the eⅹterior French drains were installed and a sump pump was installed in basement.
