Gibson Gimpel Interior Design
Since 2005, Gibson Gimpel Interior Design has consisted of the award-winning team of Emily Gibson, RID, ASID, and Allison Gimpel, Allied Member ASID. Emily and Allison met while working under the tutelage of the legendary Fort Worth based interior designer and antiques dealer, Joseph Minton. There they gained experiential knowledge and appreciation for the architectural traditions of the past, interpreted now through a contemporary lens focused on functionality and personalization. Since then, GGID has continued cultivating industry and client relationships, working on a wide variety of high-end projects from Weatherford to Frisco, TX. New construction and extensive remodels have given GGID a wealth of knowledge and experience that can only come from years of adapting and changing along with the industry. GGID’s design philosophy is defined by our mission to deliver a truly a bespoke design experience to our clients. Bespoke, in this context, goes far beyond customization. The term was originally derived to describe clothing goods that are made to order, like handmade Italian leather shoes from a mold of your foot. Where customization is limited to choice in color, material, or size, bespoke breaks those barriers by specifically tailoring every detail to the individual, which is precisely what we believe in doing for our clients as residential interior designers. Because of this, the experience working with GGID becomes an iterative process, meaning that the design changes over time as the project moves forward and evolves, adapting to solve problems and to make the most of the space and budget. We are comfortable working in a wide variety of styles, and strive to create one of a kind designs that reflect the client’s personality and interests. Working collaboratively with the clients, their builder and architect, and other industry vendors as a team is key to providing this level of service and ensures effective communication of expert opinions, resulting in a project outcome full of style and livability that is also tailored to the client’s vision. While our involvement varies depending on clients’ needs and budget, it is prompt communication, attention to detail and meticulous project management at all levels of service that creates an exceptional and rewarding design experience.
