Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design

Ghislaine has been great to work with. She has a wonderful aesthetic and is able to think through challenges in our own individual preferences to come up with options that worked well with our renovation. The follow up and the thoughness of her team in researching items was very helpful. Most importantly Ghislaine and her team are a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I first saw Ghislaine's work in the pages of Interior Design Magazine. We were struck by the whimsy, color, and fun of her projects-- and wanted the same for our home in Los Angeles. Ghislaine made a happy and comfortable home for us and our two boys and it still makes us smile. Ghislaine is talented, creative, professional, and she makes the whole process fun. I look forward to working with her again!

Ghislaine is a rock star. Her creativity knows no bounds and she is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She truly enjoys helping people make their homes as fun, creative and comfortable as possible. She was a pleasure to work with and we are already planning our next project with her.

Ghislaine and her team have worked with us on four projects now (that alone should tell you that she's terrific to work with). One was taking a traditional, beautiful-but-uninspiring apartment and injecting some color, interest and whimsy. She saved our lives there – we were about to fall into a coma. Based on that project, we asked her to help with a weekend house – an old electronics factory in the Hudson Valley. There we had a lot of fun – taking the factory theme (but not too far...) and playing off the austere cement-and-brick of the buildings, Ghislaine created a fun, quirky, but above all comfortable oasis in the woods. Her design complemented the grass and trees outside, but gave the place an interest and practicality that we've thoroughly enjoyed, along with our weekend guests. The third project was a doozy - multiple floors of new construction in Manhattan. The architect produced a marvel of geometry in white and pale colors - just what we wanted. But we wanted to go further – hidden in various nooks and crannies, surprises of color, texture and form. And in one instance, we asked Ghislaine to produce a whole room of cream - something we wouldn't normally gravitate towards, and not something that she would normally suggest either. But she did a beautiful, beautiful job, creating a visually relaxing living room that didn't compete with the vistas out the window. It wasn't Pottery Barn either, with unusual shapes and textures and highlights of ironic brass and gold. Finally, since we hadn't had enough fun, Ghislaine designed a café for us. She pushed us on the design, working to create something that nobody had seen before – going beyond the current recycled wood trend, into a warm-industrial-from-the-future feel that inspires as much as the coffee. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ghislaine and her team to anyone – unless, of course, you're not interested in a little design adventure...

We had hired Ghislaine Vinas Interior Design in 2008 for our residence in Tribeca, NYC. When we moved to Charleston, SC, we had to use Ghislaine again because her work and inspiration is unmatched! Ghislaine and her team have helped us make our new home in South Carolina a fantastic place to live, entertain and raise our children. We feel that we have a "bit of NYC" brought to us in our home here, all because of the groundbreaking design and creativity of Ghislaine. Thank you Ghislaine! We'll be back for more! Very attentive to our ideas and concepts. She was very helpful with detailing our home and making it our dream Penthouse. She was very clear with budget expectations and most of the deadlines were met. We just had to wait on the arrival of wallpaper that took a while, which pushed back the completion of our home. However, Ghislaine Viñas was a pleasure to work with and I highly reccomend her!

we LOVED working with Ghislaine and the team of outright professionals she had working on our project. here is why: creative - in problem solving as well as design dedicated - there was never any doubt that they cared about the project as much as we did...it was more than money, they love doing this. professional - on time, very communicative, inclusive, and in control at all times (Brandon and Vane' - thank you!) fun - hard work but always time to laugh and make the process enjoyable...very "family" feeling process (in the good way) personalized - made sure to understand what we wanted - not what they wanted to do (they told us "you guys have to live there after we leave..." which I really appreciated) we would HIGHLY recommend working with Ghislaine for anyone who is able to secure their time....you will be so glad you did.

There is truly noone like Ghilsaine. I discovered her at a dance class with my 7 year old and inquired who had done the space. The dance studio gave me her name. From the moment I met her, I was sold. Not only is she super talented (anyone that looks at her work will know this instantly) , but she is ON TIME, ON BUDGET (always recommended options at different prices) and PROFESSIONAL! And her staff is a PLEASURE and has their own incredibly, unique talent. I can't recommend her Company enough. I just hired her for another project!
