If you are looking for a truly honest and trustworthy craftsman who not only prides themselves on a superior product but a job “DONE RIGHT”, then Brannon Clayborn owner of Hardwood Designs is your person. I have had like most bad experiences over my life with contractors who did not live up to their promises or when a problem arose, their attitude was it is what it is. This is not the case here. I am a living example of this. I contracted with a Hardwood Designs for almost 3000 sq feet of flooring. Upon completion there was a problem and I contacted Brannon, the owner. This was the type of problem that other contractors would have argued about or not returned your calls. Brannon on the other hand came out and identified the problem and fixed it. This is a person of high morales who takes pride in what his company does and looks at it as a reflection upon himself. I have this magnificent floor that looks like a work of art and could not be happier.

Happy with overall mesquite wood flooring installation and repair but still waiting to have Hardwood Designs to answer my repeated inquiry as to when a small area that was missed will be taken care of.

I've worked with Hardwood Designs for several years now and can honestly say they have great customer service, and a one of a kind product. What they do cannot be compared to other "engineered" floors. They mill their own wood, do true hand scraping - none of the machined stuff, and can customize wood in any color or technique. The people at Hardwood Designs are first class, and they have unique products & excellent service. I can't recommend them highly enough. We did a Mesquite floor with them this past year that was stunning. They are the only hardwood company I know of that sources the logs, mills them, and installs/sands/finishes. We we worked alongside Hardwood Design crew on a very large project in a historic Austin home where they installed the floor for the entire house. The wood was a very rare and imported reclaimed material. The project turned out beautifully and they crew was always of the highest standard of professionalism.
