We worked with Holly this year on our 1925 bungalow remodel and could not be happier with the final result. They created a fresh modern space inside that still respects the historical period of the neighborhood. Ron & Lorna supervised the daily work on our project. My boyfriend and I moved into a rustic farm style home built by Holly & Associates, just a few months ago, March 2021 to be exact. It is now July 2021, yet EVERY SINGLE DAY I am absolutely in awe at this perfect home. It is built so extremely well and is just absolutely beautiful. Apart from their impeccable building skills and their perfect eye for design, the team at Holly & Associates has the same level of customer service. We have the most interaction and are most familiar with Justin. Justin has been EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND RESPONSIVE with any of our needs. He has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for any of our requests and this has been the case, even prior to moving in! We appreciate everything he has done and continues to do for us and our home! Although I have not met the founder of the company, Janver Holly, I can only imagine this excellence stems from the top! Holly just finished building a home for us after we lost our home in the 2017 Nunes fire. We are really happy with the house and guest house/detached garage. One of the highlights was the excellent communication throughout the process. Now that we are completed the team has continued to stay in touch to make sure we are completely satisfied.

I am familiar with several of Holly and Associates’ projects and have been impressed with their execution and ability to work with a design team on early project scoping. I know them to be excellent contractors with a long standing relationship to their clients and their community. I would recommend them highly for both residential and commercial projects.

This project was launched in June 2014 and wrapped up in December 2016. It involved the remodeling of a house built in 1910 and used for many years up until time of purchase as a rental property. At some point the owner erected a shabby 3-room structure on the same lot, also used as rental property. To do it right the older structure had to be torn down to the studs, and the other structure had to be torn down with its square footage added to the original house in a fashion that made it look as if it had always been a part of that structure. To put it simply, Holly & Associates proved to be the best prime contractor we ever used, better than any we had ever heard about. Why? INTEGRITY - their word was their bond. Their honesty was impeccable. RESTORATION - they knew, had experience with, and had mastered restoration of historic properties. ARCHITECT AND LICENSING - they worked well and closely with the architect and with city building inspectors and permit granters. EXCELLENT WORK FORCE - the workers employed by Holly were all very competent and thorough, as were the workers employed by all of the subcontractors, who were all top flight. And all of these workers actually cleaned up the work site when work was done. PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILL - Holly management skillfully and ably managed their employee workforce and the subcontractors. Nobody ever got in another's way, but instead all worked as a team. A JOY TO WORK WITH - The whole Holly team, including senior management, were highly responsive and eager to please.

Our project was a complete gutting out and remodel of an existing 2400 square foot building which had to be completed in less than 5 months for our daughter's wedding! The building is a working winery and had to remain operational during the grape harvest and winemaking season which occurred right in the middle of the construction schedule. Holly & Associates willingly took on the project despite these challenges and promised that they could meet our deadline. Right as construction started, we decided to add significant scope to the project. This entailed the installation of interior walls and glass doors to close off our tasting room. Our construction manager worked closely with Holly & Associates to ensure these changes were implemented correctly and to help the project run smoothly in general. As was expected, there were some delays with the subcontractors and a few other glitches along the way, but Cory the project manager and Mike the onsite superintendent were always available to iron out the issues and keep the project on track. Winemaking was able to proceed as needed, and Holly & Associates successfully finished the remaining scope in an operational winery. The project was completed just on time, as promised. The original scope was completed under budget, and we were able to negotiate the owner-directed change order work to a price we found reasonable. The end result was a very stunning venue for the wedding and a beautiful new tasting room and winery space. It has impressed us as well as all of our guests.

The Holly group provides high quality and careful work, taking the extra step to make sure the final product is up to the client's expectations. When your contractor takes something down to redo it, without your questioning the initial installation, you know you have a team member that cares about its work. A terrific group of professionals.

Janver Holly and his team built our home from the ground up. They stayed on schedule, on budget, and the finished quality of the home is exactly what we hoped to achieve. We were especially appreciative of the prompt responses of the project managers who were always a text message away if I had a question. The subcontractors were personable, reliable and produced quality work, whether it was the handmade barn door or the custom cabinets.
