Our home was a complicated and detailed Modern Lodge Design that was built during the pandemic. It required a substantial amount of coordination with the subcontractors and material vendors on the project during a very difficult time in our Country., In any construction project there are always hiccups along the way and HBT's staff made sure that things were done correctly and to our satisfaction. The home was completed 3 years ago and the true test of a good home builder is how they handle warranty issue which occur on every new home. HBT's staff has been very responsive in correcting the issues we have had. We would definitely build another home with them.

When my wife discovered Homes by Tradition during the Parade she called to say "I found our builder" After seeing their workmanship I had to agree. From that point forward, Working with Dean, the owner, Architects, our Project manager, Matt, Our Interior design consultant, Danielle and all of our contractors, this project made us feel like we were their only customers. Our home construction stayed on track while some around us dragged on for lack of material or crews. Our home turned out to be a show piece. Today, 18 months later, I am still amazed at how many people, complete strangers, will stop to comment on our house. We've even done a few private tours. They see the same quality and attention to detail that we saw. They ask about our builder and we are proud to refer them to Homes by Tradition. I am an agent who represented a client that built with HBT. I can say without question it was the best experience, and this comes from a person who owned a construction company in the past. When searching for a Builder, your looking for someone who can design a custom home, provide a fair value, outstanding quality, and will stand behind their work. Check, check, check, check! Super group of people working together to deliver an amazing product ON TIME. Happy to write this review, they deserve it.

This is NOT a custom home builder. Our experience with HBT was well below the expectations set by the selling process. The design help was almost non existent. The designer they assigned to our home was more interested in finishing the project on time than on taking the time to understand our needs and lifestyle. The "trades" assigned to our project were almost all sub standard. In particular, the custom cabinetry was not consistent with a high end builder. One Example: the trash bin was near impossible to open with one hand and to add insult to injury, we were forced to pay for a replacement bin to get what we wanted. Apparently asking for a drawer to open properly was too much to ask in our $million plus investment. In general almost every aspect of the process was a battle to get what we wanted to the smallest thing to the more important design and lifestyle choices. I would not recommend this builder to anyone seeking to build a truly custom home of the highest quality.

Dean Nelson and HBT did an excellent job listening to us and designed a home exactly as we had envisioned. The finished product exceeded our expectations.

This was hands down one of the best custom home design experiences I have had. Danielle took some grainy pictures as inspiration and helped up create our dream home. Even though this was 100% custom design, she did such an amazing job in helping us narrow down the choices, but was also flexible enough to change on a dime. The entire team made this a easy, and clear process from the architectural design, down to the project management, Dean, Danielle, Matt and crew treated us like family!

I would highly recommend Homes by Tradition. The professionalism, knowledge and work quality of not only their staff but also their sub-contractors exceeded our expectations. The project came in exactly one month ahead of the projected date of completion. There were no unexpected project cost changes. This is the fourth house that we have built and by far our best experience. Homes by Tradition was an absolute pleasure to work with.
