Paul and the HoFC team were all around fantastic! They helped with the complete design, construction and installation of our kitchen in addition to the millwork/trim/mouldings throughout our entire house (a new build completed in 2017). Their attention to detail and exceptional customer service (emails were always answered very promptly!) were very much appreciated by my husband and I. We would highly recommend HoFC to anyone building or renovating.

Project #1 - coffered ceiling and feature wall Top 10 Reasons for choosing House of Fine Carpentry: #1. Matthew; working with Matthew for both design and sales was seamless, and he was on site for the start and completion of this 2 day project #2. Mathew; extensive knowledge regarding the product and installation process and ongoing collaboration ensured that this project was completed on time and on budget #3. Tyler and Ryan; completed the installation and demonstrated the highest quality of workmanship for both the ceiling and feature wall. #4. Tyler and Ryan; both were meticulous in their work area and equally important, highly respectful of family members, including the dog. #5. The completed project elevates the living room of our 5 year old house beyond what we had hoped for. #6. Project #2: built in wall cabinets over king size bed, with crown molding in master bedroom Repeat attributes #1-4 as we requested to work with this team ( Matthew, Tyler and Ryan) for this custom design. Add Colin to this team as he had created the cabinets at the shop and was on site to assist Ryan and Tyler with the installation. Again, this project was completed on time and on budget. From the moment we stated to work with this team, we knew we were in good hands. They are professional and honest but most importantly, the quality of the work is amazing. Our cabinet and shelves are perfect for our 100 year old home and everyone has commented that it was like it was always part of our home. I would recommend HoFC to anyone who enjoys quality craftsmanship and knows that fine work is an investment worth making.

My wife and I had two built-in wall units created for our condo, one for the LiveWorkPlay designed mainly for the TV and a small amount of storage and display shelves, and the other in the guest bedroom to serve mainly for storage. House of Fine Carpentry listened to our needs and worked from the floor plan on a design and made helpful suggestions about materials, colours, and costs. The work itself took place over a 2-day period with some minor touch-ups applied on day 3. The staff apologized for not completing all the work in 2 days but we did not care as the point was to have everything done right. Everything went as expected and there was clear dedication to a quality result.

We had installed built in cabinets in the living room and a built in desk with cabinets in our new condo. Thye also installed panelling in he hallway and a coffered celing beam in which pot lights were affixed. We were very impressed with the whole project, from the design, build and instalation. The work really enhanced the look of our condo and provided us with great storage. HFC customized everything to our specific needs. We shopped around and HFC was for us the clear best choice.

House of Fine Carpentry just completed the renovations of our two bathrooms, which included walnut cabinets and custom made stainless steel shower stalls. The project had many challenges as the shower stalls were in stainless steel (walls, base and ceiling). The craftmanship was first-class and the walnut cabinets were built to perfection. It was a pleasure to work with his team. Very professional, competent and punctual. It was our second major project with this company and, as in the past, they delivered quality, innovation, and first-class installation. I highly recommend House of Fine Carpentry.

We needed finishing moldings added to an existing hardwood-refinished staircase that was poorly finished and underwhelming in appearance. The old molding was removed and new moldings added - the results achieved where everything we were looking for. The stairs are now an eye-popping feature of our home. To bulk out the work, we had several rooms fitted with five inch crown molding. The results were again excellent; all the work was completed in one day. These folks do good work and I highly recommend them to others.

I hired the House of Fine Carpentry to fix many errors done by some builder in my new built house. They did a marvellous job. Not only they corrected the errors but they did it in a beautiful way, increasing the value of my home very much. Therefore, I have re-hired them to do many other jobs and have always found them very professional and at very reasonable prices.

Crown molding in living room, dining room and sun room. Shadow boxes in living room and dining room. An existing problem (crack at ceiling) was also completed. Quote was reasonable. All our questions were answered before we contracted. Employees showed up on time and were very professional. The work was completed on time with minimal intrusion to our family life and also to our complete satisfaction. Many wonderful comments from family and friends on the overall change to the room and the quality of the workmanship. We highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Commented: Building a deck without covering basement windowsYou could always leave an opening on the deck surface for the windows. Some building supply places will let you do a free deck design. I believe homedepot does this.
