We hired Hunke to do a kitchen reno that involved combining a dining room and existing kitchen into a larger space for entertaining. We received quotes from several contractors but Hunke was the only company that took our existing plans and suggested design modifications to make the space more functional. They were so accommodating from day one when Jason would visit our home so I could stay home with our son to construction when the crew went above and beyond every step of the way. Our project was estimated to take 8 weeks and it was completed in 9. The only delay was one that we agreed was necessary to source the appropriate counter tops. The crew themselves were so polite, tidy and efficient we were blown away. We went back on forth on the contract a number of times to find a price we were happy with and Jason was very understanding and flexible. The final price was as quoted. Deborah in the office is one of the kindest people, she would call or email to let us know that the selections we made for came in and looked beautiful. Although there are more cost effective contractors out there I think Hunke's prices were fair and we would gladly pay them again. We have recommended Hunke to several friends and neighbors since our reno and look forward to working with them on our next project.

This was a major addition and renovation to our house, and it was done while we continued to live in the old part of the house, for the five or six months of the work. As you can imagine, this situation could be very stressful, but the Hunke staff were always very pleasant and considerate, making the experience much less stressful. As the project unfolded, various questions arose, such as where to put light switches, or what kind of countertop, etc. The Hunke staff always presented options with various possible looks and prices, allowing us to shape the final product within our budget. We are very pleased with final result!

They were very knowledgeable . I had specific accessible needs and required a total renovation mostly for this purpose . Quality was superb and the patience and understanding was second to none . It was very hard for me to try and explain what I needed to transform the house to be wheelchair friendly but they were so helpful , knowing the types of materials and accessories that would work best . My house is now fabulous and so convenient for me in my wheelchair all thanks to them .

Hunke was very knowledgeable about how to change my house more wheelchair accessible They listen to things you wanted done and came up with a plan The staff are always going out of their to help to make the job have quality workman ship Their concert work is excellent I highly would recommend them

My bathroom is functional and beautiful for a handicap washroom. The design was exactly as promised and looks great. I would recommend Hunke Construction to all of my friends and family. They have the knowledge and manpower to do what is asked. The owner is right on top of things and was very helpful. We know it is painful giving someone the go ahead to destroy your washroom and then rebuild it. Don't be afraid as Hunke is great!

We had three projects done at the same time: a Kitchen Reno, a Bathroom Reno, and a large closet converted to a main floor Laundry Room. Jason Hunke was very helpful with suggestions which saved us money. The workers were cordial and co-operative and clean. There was a delay in the completion date due to some substitutions and minor deficiencies, but we were very pleased with the end product.
