A Wonderful Experience from Start to Finish! From the very beginning, working with Hykal Homes felt like a true collaboration. Our home has a lot of character, and while other contractors we met with certainly could have delivered beautiful work, Hykal stood out because they genuinely understood what made our house special. Rather than trying to fit a cookie-cutter design into our home, they took the time to understand its existing aesthetic and found ways to elevate, enhance, and modernize the spaces while preserving the charm and character we loved. Throughout the renovation of our kitchen and primary bathroom, the entire team was collaborative, creative, and thoughtful. They listened to our ideas, offered valuable guidance, and worked within our budget, helping us make smart decisions about where to invest and where we could save without compromising the overall vision. The crew was fantastic. There wasn't a single day during the renovation when we didn't feel like meaningful progress was being made. They were meticulous about protecting our floors and the other areas of our home, and incredibly considerate of the fact that we were living in the house throughout the entire process. That level of care made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. Yohanna, in particular, was always available, highly responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure we were happy every step of the way. Veronica, our project forewoman, was equally wonderful and attentive, communicative, and always on top of the details. Most importantly, we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Our kitchen and bathroom feel fresh, beautiful, and modern, but they still feel like they belong in our home. Hykal managed to give us everything we wanted without sacrificing what we loved about the house in the first place. Perhaps the best endorsement we can give is that we're already planning to work with Hykal again on renovations upstairs. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a team that combines beautiful craftsmanship with a truly collaborative and thoughtful approach.

Working with Hykal Homes on my downstairs reno was an incredible experience from start to finish. They completely transformed my space by not only remodeling my main kitchen but also creating a dedicated second kitchen for my bakery—and the results exceeded every expectation. The all-female team truly listened to my vision and understood exactly what I wanted to achieve. They captured not only the functionality I needed but also the feeling and aesthetic I was hoping to create. Their attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism made the entire process enjoyable. The quality of the workmanship is second to none. Every detail was executed with precision and care, and the finished space is absolutely stunning. My downstairs is now truly magazine-worthy, and I couldn’t be more proud to show it off. If you’re looking for a builder who is talented, passionate, and committed to delivering exceptional results, I can’t recommend Yohana and Hykal Homes highly enough. Thank you for bringing my dream space to life!

We used Hykal Homes for a full kitchen and master bath remodel plus refresh/updates for the entire house. They were amazing throughout the entire process. They provided detailed breakdowns of the reno scope, budget, and final costs. They helped navigate the design process and kept it simple so that the process never became overwhelming. The results were incredible. It is like a brand new house. And they delivered early and on budget. I have already recommended them to multiple people, and we would absolutely work with them again!

Yohana and her team did an amazing job with our full home remodel. They were patient, communicative, transparent, and were very helpful when making design decisions! In the end, the project was completed on budget and even slightly ahead of schedule! We've recommended them to multiple friends and colleagues already, and would do so to anyone looking to remodel.

We found Hykal Homes through a colleague and we are so glad that we did. We wanted to do a "mini" kitchen renovation/refresh that included significant carpentry work to make a custom bench and custom hood. Yohana and her team exceeded all expectations and brought our ideas to life. They completed our kitchen reno AND re-did our living room mantel all in three weeks. They are very thoughtful and intentional with the prep prior to demo. I believe this is what allowed them to complete our reno in record time. Most importantly, Yohana's team members (carpentry, electrical, contracting managers) that spent the most time in our home were incredible. They work hard, have impeccable attention to detail and are kind and courteous. We plan on contracting with them again in the future for other projects. We would recommend them to anyone!

Comment from Hykal Homes LLC:

Maya, seeing your kitchen, custom bench, and living-room mantel come together in just three weeks was incredibly rewarding. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with the crew- they’ll be so happy to know their care and craftsmanship stood out!

I used Hykal Homes to purchase my first house AND do my first major renovation. Renovation nightmare stories my friends have told me had me very worried that this was going to be a stressful experience where I would spend a lot and I wouldn’t even be happy at the end. Fortunately, my experience with Hykal Homes was a total success. The all-in-one approach at Hykal Homes helped simplify things for me. Not having to deal with a separate designer and contractor meant i could go through one person for all my needs. Alicia was my main point of contact, and having one dedicated person to work with made it so much easier to understand what was happening, communicate what I wanted, and get the great result I had envisioned. Alicia handled every detail and answered every question. She and the whole team were great. From helping me find the right house to purchase, to completely transforming it into my dream home, and even helping with furniture selection, Hykal Homes delivered a stress-free experience and exceptional results. And now, I’m enjoying my new renovated house and I actually have a good renovation story to share with my friends.

Comment from Hykal Homes LLC:

James, it was an honor to guide you through purchasing your first home and transforming it into a space that truly feels like yours. Alicia and our entire team loved helping make your first renovation experience a success- and giving you a good renovation story to share!

Alexandra Horne

We LOVED working with Yohana and the whole Hykal Homes teams! My husband and I hired them to do a full home renovation of our early 1990s home, including complete kitchen and bathroom remodels, a new laundry room space, completing an unfinished basement, fresh paint everywhere, fireplace refinish, among many others. It included structural work and beam installation. We really enjoyed having our contractor and design team all as one so that it was a seamless process of picking beautiful things while also ensuring those beautiful finishes all stayed fully within the project budget. The whole Hykal Homes construction team was also wonderful. We fully trusted them with our home. For such a massive project, it only took about 5 months from start to move in date (even with some delays from the city that were out of HH control) which was much quicker than any other company while still ensuring such high quality and beautiful work. They continue to check in on us and the home a year later. 100% recommend!!

My husband and I bought a fixer upper in an amazing neighborhood. Hykal Homes not only “fixed it up”, but they re-did the entire lay out and helped me with the design process. They held my hand the entire time, as this was my first renovation. We were beyond happy with the final results. I would pick them over and over again! Great people.

Turning your fixer-upper into a completely reimagined home was such a special transformation. We’re so glad you felt supported through your first renovation and would happily do it all over again with you!

Hykal Homes are the best! This team transformed our 50 year old cottage home into a modern day custom retreat! The planning, budget and timeline were all met while we were able to work side by side to select our materials and appointments. The result was an open concept first floor living space with vaulted ceiling, remodeled eat-in kitchen with island, and first floor master bedroom and en suite bathroom with a huge walk-in shower and bench. Plenty of closets and even a “secret” door to more closet space off the laundry. The designer had great taste! We would recommend Hykal Homes to anyone who wants a job professionally completed at a fair price. No one else could match this builder!

We cannot say enough great things about Hykal Homes! After being left in a terrible situation with our previous contractor who ghosted us and did a poor job, we were nervous about starting over. From the moment Hykal Homes stepped in, the experience was night and day. Every single crew member was professional, skilled, and a pleasure to work with—plumber, tile installer, carpenter, electrician—they all delivered top-quality craftsmanship with amazing attention to detail and flawless terminations. A special shout-out to Yohanna whose design expertise and dedication truly brought our dream to life. She went above and beyond, guiding us through every step and making sure the finished product was not only functional but stunning. Thanks to this incredible team, we now have our dream master bathroom. The quality, professionalism, and care they put into this project exceeded all our expectations. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Hykal Homes to anyone looking for excellence in home renovation.

Hykal Homes did our home remodel in 2021, right in the midst of COVID and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Not only did they finish the job 10 days ahead of schedule, but they went above and beyond to track down the materials we wanted when supply chain issues were impacting the entire industry. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship were outstanding. For example, their countertop specialist repurposed our old marble island top into a STUNNING custom vanity for our powder bath. It's one of my favorite features in the house! They even came back 11 months later to install our double oven after finally arriving due to supply chain, long after the remodel was complete. Now, nearly four years later, we’re still in LOVE with our home. Everything Hykal Homes touched has been pure perfection. There hasn’t been a single thing we’ve had to call them back to fix, which speaks volumes about their quality and professionalism. Yohana and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with: responsive, creative, dependable, and truly invested in making our vision come to life. If you want a construction company that delivers on its promises and takes pride in every detail, Hykal Homes is the one to call.

Comment from Hykal Homes LLC:

Completing your remodel during the challenges of 2021 made finishing ten days early especially meaningful to our team. Thank you for trusting us to track down the right materials and keep your project moving- we’re so glad you still love the results!
