We have provided landscape architectural design services for over 31 years. Our Mission is to create gardens reflecting the needs, desires, and vision of our clients. With the Covid-19 protocol in place, Integrated Site Design continues to provide design for our clients. This is a great time to start the design process, get bids, and acquire permits. Once sheltering-in-place is lifted, contractors will be eager to begin work again with a preference for well-prepared homeowners. We worked with Integrated Site Design and Ray on a massive overhaul of our yard following a full rebuild of our Northwest modern house. Ray was able to deliver a vision that matched the style of the house and paired us with a landscaper who did planting and lighting, as well as working with our concrete designer to execute on an excellent landscape design. Ray is detailed and thoughtful about timeline, budget, and contracting. His thorough contracting saved us from potential trouble with the hardscaping company at the end of the project.

Ray had installed a wonderful water feature thirty years prior on my property. In 2024 I requested Ray's help to upgrade another area of the yard that had been neglected. Ray (with my collaboration) came up with a plan that was within my budget, and that addressed my mobility issues on this steep lot. He oversaw the installation, was on the job site frequently, and in close contact with the landscape crew. When questions arose, I was included in the decision making process. I am very pleased with the finished product. I have new plantings, stairs, railings, and deck. It includes seating and private viewing areas. Ray turned this steep lot into a place that I can safely traverse, and enjoy its beauty.

We have found the years of experience ISD has brought to our landscape project has been very helpful and timely. Our architect, Ray Robinson, is detailed oriented with excellent follow up processes. Ray has taken a particularly personal interest in the hardscape planning of our 100 year old property. Ray's sincere interest in the development of our goals has been impressive and he has our trust as we continue toward completion of this major change.

Our HOA has worked with Ray for about three years to do an overhaul of our 40-year-old landscape. Ray has been a pleasure to work with. He has made several presentations to our HOA and has been very patient addressing concerns of various owners in our community. He listens to our concerns and makes adjustments as needed and is very thorough in presenting the pros and cons of various issues. Definitely a 5-Star company!

We enlisted Integrated Site Design to create a landscape design for our tricky, steep, blackberry-infested yard. Ray designed something that I could never have imagined. His design turns our unusable backyard into a relaxing retreat that integrates existing (healthy) trees and introduces native plants along with a pathway to a seating area. The front landscape design better reflects the style of our home and makes the yard much more accessible while maintaining it. He also introduced us to our general contractor for our home construction project and works closely with our GC and architect to ensure that the entire project is cohesive. He's even incorporating some design elements as part of our house remodel. On top of all of this, he's just a genuinely decent person. We're new to construction, and often we don't even know the right questions to ask. Ray is always patient with us and clearly describes what we can expect from the design, permitting, and construction phases. When we need to contact him, he's always available to jump on a call or even come to the house. I wholeheartedly recommend Integrated Site Design, whether you're unhappy with your landscaping but think there is no way to improve it, or you need to enlist someone to help with a simple design that you already have in mind. Ray has integrity and will treat you and your project with care and respect.

Ray Robinson served as Project Architect for this large Landscape Renovation. As owner of Landcrafting Inc., I served as Project General Contractor. During the course of this installation, I found Ray's design work to be exemplary in terms of response to site conditions - relative to the Clients' requirements. In every instance, he showed remarkable creativity in this, often difficult, juxtaposition of needs. Ray also creatively handled the Change Orders that, ultimately, ever Project encounters during construction. His solutions were timely, accurate, and responsive to the issue at hand. He kept communication between all parties active and representative throughout the build process, maintaining a high level of efficiency. I've worked with a myriad of Design and Construction Professionals during my career - I would rate Ray, and the ISD team, as Top of the Line, in every category, of Design and Project Management. Ray Robinson and Integrated Site Design, was the Landscape Architect on a Historic Building rehabilitation that my office was the architect on, and did a stellar job. The project is on the downtown waterfront in a small coastal town in Washington, in an historical district. ISD navigated the challenges of some Landmark District design review, a tight budget and timeline, and the constraints of the site...along with the design opportunities afforded by an important, "center of town" location...to pull together a very nice project. I strongly recommend Ray & his company.

The project was a total renovation of a 55 year old church, situated on over 4 acres of land.
