I highly recommend Jennifer Rhode Design! Originally, I hired Jennifer to walk through my house with me to give suggestions on how to tie my look together. Within 1.5 hours, she was easily able to point out ideas such as "a white comforter with lavender polka dots would look cute here" or "a few sheepskin pillows would look great here". Within half an hour, she emailed me all of the links to the items she suggested. I was so impressed with this experience that I ended up hiring her to help develop a color palate and overall design scheme for our entire remodel. I have a difficult time articulating what I like and an even harder time tying a look together, so the only insight I was able to offer Jennifer is that my style is "Scandinavian meets Anthropologie". With this, she magically presented to me a beautiful portfolio of images and even tile/wood/cabinet samples to set the tone for the entire project. When the project is complete, I look forward to seeing what furniture and decorative ideas she has in mind! Jennifer is a natural and I highly recommend her!!

I moved into a one bedroom apartment, nice place, however, I wanted it to feel like a home and have a sense of style. I new i needed some help so decided to look on Houzz (Internet Web Site) for some ideas. There were many ideas on Houzz website a little over whelming , great site. I noticed they offered some interior design services. I requested some assistance within the area I'm living and a number of Interior designers were presented, after browsing the local designers I selected Jennifer Rhode her sense of style, and minimalism appealed to me. Met with Jennifer and she discovered the space I'm living in by visiting the Apartment, and also got to know me some. I discussed with Jennifer what previous designs she'd worked on displayed on her web site that appealed to me. From that visit and discussion Jennifer presented a number of customized ideas for the apartment. Jennifer moved me outside my comfort zone, outside of what I knew, and gave me the confidence that what she was suggesting would make the Apartment sing. I was a little hesitant but decided to commit to what Jennifer was proposing. I'm so glad I did, seeing her vision appear in reality was such a delight and verifies Jennifers experience, vision and confidence in what she knew would work. Jennifer Rhode redesigned two apartments in our San Francisco Victorian rental building. In the Victorian apartment, Jennifer updated the kitchen and bathrooms with clean, bright white cupboards that maximized storage and functionality for our tenants. She used simple, modern finishes that are a nice contrast and work well with the Victorian detailing in the apartment. The second apartment is a lower level apartment that is not Victorian. She used many of the same finishes to create continuity within the building. The clean, white storage brightens the space and is balanced by the wood beams and vintage brick in the space.

I hired Jennifer to help me create a photo wall in my house. I have so many photos just stored away and I wanted a way to display them, to share with family and friends. Jen helped me to create an amazing, well organized, and thought out display of my photos. We used approximately 60 photos and arranged them up two sections of a large staircase. LOVE IT!! She definitely met my expectations when it comes to professionalism and quality of work.
