Embarking on a home remodel journey can be daunting, but working with Jessica Nelson Design turned our aspirations into a stunning reality. The team took their time to understand the property and the way we wanted to dwell within it (“…70’s Surf Shack with an elevated PNW style”). From the initial consultation to the final touches, every step of the process was marked by professionalism, creativity, and a fun attention to detail. Our Sunset Hill project is a testament to JND’s talent and expertise. What was once a “dated space with potential” has been completely revitalized into a modern coastal home that seamlessly blends comfort and sophistication in a way that takes advantage of its sunny seaside location. One of the most impressive aspects of this remodel is the thoughtful integration of both design elements and usefulness. The spaces look great, but their usability has also been greatly enhanced, with clever storage solutions and layouts optimizing every part of the home. Every room exudes style, warm ambience, and better functionality. This is a house to be lived in while also admiring it’s beautiful vibe. Throughout the project, the team demonstrated an unwavering commitment to understanding our vision and translating it into a design that, in the end, exceeded our expectations. Communication was always prompt and transparent. Any concerns or questions were addressed with professionalism and expertise. As a bonus, the team was fun! As a result, we always looked forward to our discussions with them. We couldn't be happier with our engagement and the outcome of our project.

I can't say enough good things about JND! We first worked with Jessica on our kitchen remodel and living/dining room furnishings, and when it came time for an addition a few years later, there was no question - we were calling JND again. Jory worked with us on the bathrooms and laundry room, and I'm honestly blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. The entire team we worked with at JND - Jessica, Jory, Lindsay, Scott, and their procurement team - is just exceptional. They're responsive, communicative, and you can genuinely tell they care about doing great work and making their clients happy. Every interaction felt collaborative and warm. I'll admit, I used to be the type to cut corners and save money on things like sconces and fixtures, thinking it didn't really matter. Working with JND completely changed my perspective. Those details they insisted on? They make ALL the difference. Everything feels luxurious and elevated in a way I never would have imagined. Trust their expertise on this - you won't regret it! I genuinely wish I had the budget to have them redesign the entire house. I constantly joke (but I'm completely serious) that I want to buy another house just to have an excuse to work with them again. We had the opportunity to work with Jessica and her co-desinger Jory on our home and six months post project completion, I still have "pinch-me" moments of how it turned out! The JND teams' creativity, expertise, and organization was evident at every stage of our project. Jessica Nelson Design has now done three of our homes - one furnishing and decorating and two full gut job remodels. Jessica's work is literally magazine worthy. All of her projects are beyond gorgeous and are always being published because of their unique beauty. Our two full remodels were designed by JND and were two very different looks - one city sleek and one cottage cozy. She absolutely hit it out of the park and I feel lucky ever day I get to wake up and enjoy such a stunning home. Not only do they have the best eye for design, they are run like a well oiled machine and have the best team members who would go the extra mile... like hand delivering pillows on Christmas Eve. They did it all for us... vision boards, design boards, lighting, plumbing fixtures, furniture selection, decor selection, sourcing/ordering everything, and placing everything. I cannot recommend JND enough. They are simply amazing.

I had been admiring Jessica's work for some time and was thrilled to have her and her amazing team design our project. We remodeled 3 bathrooms and our primary bedroom. I love her attention to detail. So many special moments in each room. Besides being incredibly talented, Jess and her team are just wonderful people! We are so happy with how beautiful our spaces are now. She will be our first call when we are ready to tackle a new project.

That particular one has been featured in multiple publications and we always receive nice comments and great feedback on the design approach! Jessica is terrific to work with on all dimensions of scope, style, cost, feasibility, referrals, materials sourcing / section. An expert at what she does, every detail is covered and her deliverables are exceptional and easy to review and share with contractors / practitioners. We would recommend working with JND over and over (which we have done so multiple times since!).

I had the good fortune of moving to the same street as Jessica Nelson in 2019. When I found out she was an interior designer, I enlisted her help with my son's nursery. Jessica guides you through the design process in a way that allows you to feel involved and ensures the end product lines up with your original vision. The nursery Jessica designed quickly became my favorite room in our house and we have had Jessica help with several projects since 2019. Jessica's taste, zero-pressure personality, and her contacts in the construction industry have all made my remodeling projects stress and hassle free, which is pretty uncommon! If you want a beautifully designed house and to reduce stress associated with remodeling, JND is the way to go!

Hired her twice and that says something! We bought a 1958 rambler with a spectacular view but the amount of work it needed in the remodel was overwhelming. Jessica came in and not only took time to really listen to how we wanted the house to feel and look but made it so much better! Her ability to visualize how to use the space is invaluable. We would have never considered moving the kitchen to the view side and now its our favorite place in the house! She was easy to work with, responded to my calls and emails in a timely manner. Jessica basically took the stress out of the remodel for us. I loved how she had an opinion and was not afraid to voice it. Her artistry using color and texture and light was reflected in her design boards and brought to life in the house. She sourced products and materials and helped determine costs and also made sure the construction aligned with her designs. Our house is now everything we hoped it would be! I would hire her again in an instant.

We worked with Jess on remodeling our 1920s Tudor while living abroad (thank goodness for her patience with us!) and we could NOT have done this project without Jess, her team and Ruslan + the team at Construct Remodel. She was able to create such a unique and beautiful design from the literal jumble of inspo we gave her that has resulted in a gorgeous home that we love.
