Jess Galloway Architect

While designing my studio, Jess was a patient guide and a great listener and when the project was underway, Jess was available for my questions and very clear in his explanations. His attention to details allowed me to make the necessary choices to stay ahead of the needs of the contractor and crew. It really was such a pleasure working with someone so clear-sighted and communicative. Plus, he has an excellent sense of humor.

I had the fortune to work with Jess for over 7 years on many projects ranging from complex to small. I cannot speak highly enough of Jess's professionalism and charisma. With Master degrees in both Math and Architecture, Jess is an exceptional problem-solver, and his knowledge and experience makes the construction process easy for the builders and ultimately satisfying for the clients. Jess is also a thoughtful listener, he doesn't push his ideas but rather work through the client's vision and laid out creative options. It was always a great learning experience working with Jess and I would highly recommend Jess for any projects.

We worked with Jess, while he was working at Booziotis and Company. to help design our new home in California. Jess is a total professional. He came to our project with both great design sensibility and a desire to make our home work for how we actually live. I think Jess’s greatest strength is his wonderful sense of light and space, that he uniquely balances with his understanding of how homes actually get built. He worked regularly with our builder to make sure what was envisioned was built – and built to the highest standards. In the end, Jess helped to create a truly wonderful home that our family loves.

In my 20 years of commercial real estate management and operations I have worked with many individual architects as well as architectural firms on everything from small minor renovations to massive multi-million dollar projects. It is difficult to find an architect who is supremely knowledgeable, intuitive, extremely professional and a thoughtful listener. Jess is all of those things as well as typically three steps ahead of your own thought processes. I trust his instincts and know he brings a vast amount of expertise to the table.

Jess is a master at his craft yet easily allows for collaboration from all members of the team. A consummate professional, amenable and respectful of each others' ideas, with Jess at the helm, we turned out a truly great product, together. All in all it was THE most satisfying project for me professionally and personally.
