I recently purchased a loft style condo and needed to do a complete remodel. I used JL Coates Design to oversee my renovation. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with and I cannot speak highly enough about her professionalism, responsiveness and timeliness, as well as her impeccable taste and vision for my space. She made the process seamless from beginning to end. She understood my style and preferences immediately and provided me with options that always delivered. The work was completed in a timely fashion and the people with whom she collaborated with to make my space beautiful were a delight as well. I highly recommend her and would rely on her for any design projects that might arise in the future.

We began a whole-house remodel about a year ago, and had trouble getting started. We were building some walls along with a decorating refresh - something we had not done before. So, there was a lot changing, and we wanted to ensure our decisions resulted in some big practical/lifestyle improvements as well as a beautiful home. We hired Jennifer to consult on all the decisions we were not completely sure about (so, everything). Jennifer was a huge help filling in the blanks for many things, and shortening the learning curve with her expertise. I usually take a lot of time to process big decisions that involve many details, and Jennifer was very accommodating with this challenge. Her pricing was flexible and her services are worth every penny because my remodel experience was lacking. She also understands all the moving pieces with contracting, and has some great service company recommendations to boot. Jennifer's ability to choose furniture and decor based on our taste is impressive. She doesn't necessarily have our same style, but still has the ability to find the right piece. Two examples are the dining chandelier that we bought, and the couch in our family room. Both are pretty important pieces to set the tone. Our search for both of these things lasted a couple months, and we ultimately came back to the exact piece suggested by Jennifer. We still needed to go though our own process, but the "right" choice was there when we were ready for it! Five stars. Great Work. Thank you!
