We really appreciated and loved Juliana as our designer for our house remodel. She is patient and has a great sense of color and style. She made our decisions easier for us, as she helps to narrow down our choices with her expertise and knowledge in materials and brands. She helped us pick out all our tiles, ordered our kitchen cabinets for us (and helped design the layout), hardwood floors, bathroom toilets and hardware, patio materials and colors, house color, sinks, etc... She's detail oriented, and has a lot of experience, so we trusted her many times on decisions we were unsure about, only to be very pleased with her choices. She also is a good tie breaker when my husband and I disagree on choices! :) She also was able to do 3D model imaging with the items we selected in the rooms, which definitely helped us be confident in our decisions before we ordered the materials. She's easy to work with, reasonable, and approachable. I take a long time to make decisions and I appreciate her care and attention when I needed her advice. I don't think our house would have turned out as beautiful and professional as it did without her guidance. We definitely recommend her to anyone who is remodeling their home who are in need of design help, color/ material matching, wondering what the current trends are, or even just a second opinion to help decide the 10000 decisions that need to be made in the process.. We really found her to be invaluable to our home project.

I worked with Juliana on my project in San Jose (full home remodel). Taking on a remodeling project can be daunting, but working with Juliana has made the whole process not just satisfying, but also enjoyable. We are in the middle of the project right now and couldn’t be happier with how things have turned out so far.

I initially found Spaces by Juliana on houzz and found her portfolio to be the only one that was interesting. Her designs were stylish, yet timeless. We did a full remodel to balance and better use our space as well as open our floor plan. Working with Juliana, I found her to be approachable, knowledgeable, well-connected and great at working with contractors and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer. Juliana was great to work. I enjoyed picking finishes such as flooring, tile, wallpaper, stone, etc. with her. She was able to take little hints and concepts and help narrow down a dizzying array of choices to some very beautiful options. She never stood in the way of something we liked but would offer suggestions which often ended up being things we never would have picked but ended up loving. She knows this work well and was extremely accurate and thorough with measurements and such. She is also a master of timelines and is great at coordinating what materials need to be ordered when (we didn't have any hold ups with materials at all!) We worked with Juliana on the remodeling of our bathrooms. She was very hands on, resourceful and attentive to details. Juliana recommended the stores to purchase the materials from, where we were offered special rates. Not having to research the materials and stores saved us a lot of time. Juliana is an amazing designer. She helped us transform our 4 bathrooms, master bedroom, and entertainment room. Juliana also helped us select furniture and artwork throughout the house. Thank heaven for Juliana! We really enjoyed working with her on our remodel. Since our project involved all three of our bathrooms and our entire second floor we would have been overwhelmed with all of the choices. We came to rely on her input as she came up with different color schemes and flooring/wall tile combinations for bathrooms and bedrooms. There wasn't a question she couldn't answer for us. She listened carefully to both my wife and I so she could get a general understanding of our tastes. Then she always presented choices for us to consider. We felt like we were miles ahead of the game. We also benefitted from her excellent industry sources. She knows where to go and even took us to several suppliers so we could actually see bathroom accessories, tile and the like. She also drew up plans for the bathrooms so the tile installers would know exactly how to do the installation. All in all, we found her easy to talk with and very comfortable to be around which is so important when you are trying to visualize everything and make the right choices. When it all came together the value of her guidance was obvious. It was amazing! We couldn't have done it without her.

My wife and I are very happy with the outcome working with Juliana! Our project is a 4800 sqft rebuild. When it came to interior work in February, we were overwhelmed and decided to hire an interior designer. We chose Juliana after evaluating four designers because her proposal is the easiest to understand and her pricing model is very reasonable. Although COVID-19 made things harder, Juliana arranged showroom visits for us, or having the vendors send samples straight to our home. Here is the scope of work Juliana did for our project: - Cabinets in the entire house, including kitchen, family room and library. The style and color choice are amazing for our house. - Bathrooms. We have 5 1/2 bathrooms. Every bathroom is different and beautiful! - Interior painting color. Juliana gave us a sheet of color codes and we strictly followed that. We never knew that white color has so many variations and using these variations creatively can produce unbelievable result. We feel so comfortable walking into every room. - Ceiling design, including decorative beams in the public rooms with pitch ceiling, and tray ceiling in the entry and dining room. Our entry and dining room are irregular. The tray ceiling Juliana designed make the ceiling defined and gorgeous. - Color of interior doors, window frames, and moulding - Wall paper. This is what made my wife extremely happy! - Interior/exterior lights and mirrors. - and a lot more. We strongly recommend Juliana for your project.

We had the pleasure of working with Juliana on designing everything for our new construction. She helped us with perfecting the layout to be both functional and esthetically pleasing, thinking through every detail such as window placement, sky lights, storage, ceilings, electrical, the list goes on. She made our finish selections very easy, with just a few visits to showrooms. She quickly understood our tastes and once we selected an accent tile we liked was able to quickly suggest everything else to match. She was very responsive over text as I sent her countless photos of flooring and lighting options, providing thoughtful feedback. Juliana was also able to recommend some vendors which we appreciated, including kitchen cabinets, which were reasonably priced for the "custom" category. We are still wrapping up and have some finishing touches left. We look forward to continuing our collaboration through window treatments and the furniture layout. I also suggest planning a few days ahead to schedule appointments, as Juliana can get pretty busy.

We started working with Juliana slightly after starting our home remodeling. It was one of the best decisions that we took. She patiently gathered our requirements, and came up with fabulous designs for great room, fire place and bathrooms. After a few iterations we had the final design. Juliana worked with us on a kitchen update project. While we didn't change the footprint of the kitchen we did replace every element of it (with the exception of the floor). Juliana helped us remodel our kitchen, master bedroom, and other bathrooms. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with. For the entire lifecycle of the project, from the initial contact to contractor questions during the construction, she has been incredibly responsive. Our contractor said the same, unprompted he told us that we'd got cabinets from the best company in the bay area. She's made herself very available whenever the contractor had any questions. We are thrilled with the kitchen, Juliana helped us get a kitchen that's very classy and yet feels comfortable. We're working on the bedroom + bathrooms now and she continues to be very responsive to followups from us and our contractor.

Juliana Linnsen was an incredible designer on out full house remodel which including all 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen remodel including wall removal, full redesign of custom stairwell, and hardwood flooring throughout. A highlight of the remodel was inclusion in our family room of our limestone fireplace with surrounding bookshelves, a built in cherry wood cabinet with wine chiller, flowing into our designer kitchen. Juliana provided us with amazing design renderings based on her recommendations combined with our own personal search of the Houzz website. Juliana was always available for advice and consultation and the end product is an extraordinary transformation of our Almaden Valley home into a showcase property. Juliana Linssen is absolutely wonderful! She designed our kitchen remodel (2 1/2 years ago) and she just completed our master bathroom remodel. Juliana is very creative. She brings ideas, pictures and suggestions to you. She helps you narrow down your choices to find the right design style for your taste. She then takes the hassle out of selecting all the materials by going with you to the different stores to help you find appropriate choices (tiles, cabinetry, fixtures...). This was a huge benefit to me because I find tile stores completely overwhelming with the number of choices and combinations. Juliana helped me select a color palate and all the right pieces to pull the whole project together. In addition, Juliana is easy to work with and flexible! She wants you to be happy.

I highly recommend Juliana Linssen as an interior designer. She has such a great eye for creative design; and she is extremely organized in every respect. I really appreciated how she would question certain things during the building process to make sure everyone was on their toes even with small details- the angle of a wall, the space needed for a refrigerator, the height of an arch, the layout of tile, etc. Juliana was actually recommended to me by another designer who had used her to assist with designing a room in her own house! I hired Juliana to help me with some of the details for a year-long, major remodel and expansion of my home. She assisted with everything from review of the architectural plans and adding architectural details throughout the house such as archways and raised ceilings to cabinet design, bathroom and kitchen design, electrical plans, paint colors, tile design, and much more. Juliana has a knack for working quickly. This is something I appreciated since I was paying hourly and had a budget. I was easily overwhelmed when looking at choices of tile and granite and she saved me a tremendous amount of time by assessing my likes and needs and quickly narrowing down my options. She had so many ideas for combining decorative tiles with field tiles and even customizing tiles that we used on a kitchen backsplash... but she kept her recommendations clear and focused to help me stay focused. She also gave some great recommendations of places to shop for tile, molding, sinks, fireplace mantels, faucets, appliances, etc; and I really appreciated that she passed along any designer discounts to me. Juliana never missed a deadline and she was very efficient with her time. She would respond to emails or voicemail quickly. She always had other clients; but she never made me feel like she was too busy to respond to my requests. She even helped me when I panicked and realized that my tile setter needed plans for setting the tile in the kitchen and I had forgotten to ask Juliana to make tile design plans. She understood the urgency and she took the time to create and send me detailed plans the same day. Juliana also sells Crystal Cabinets, which we decided to purchase these. I was very impressed with the quality, selection, and price of the Current line, which we decided to use in our home. In the end I have a very beautiful house and it wouldn't have turned out so well without Juliana. I do have one regret. Juliana was so good about working with my budget. There were certain decisions that I decided to make on my own without her help to save a little money. In the end, I wish I had spent the money and had her even more involved. Also, if you are looking for someone to project manage your construction project, I would recommend Juliana. She is so organized and she works so well with everyone from the construction crew to material vendors that I can see how you she would do a wonderful job in that respect. I would definitely hire Juliana again for my next project.

I cook a lot and I can tell she thought of every single detail. Things are always where I need them. She spent a lot of time with the cabinet manufacturer to make sure the cabinets were perfect. She also made sure the cabinet guy came back to fix minor details that were not up to her standards. She was great in adapting the functionality to the cooking devices and equipment I already had. We completed an entire remodel of our home working with Juliana on every room. Juliana is a certified kitchen designer and pays close attention to the function as well as the finishes. Juliana spent time with us shopping for tile on several occasions since we were picking finishes for several rooms. We had so much to pick out and it seemed overwhelming. Juliana kept us on track and managed everything and our job was to pick out things we liked. She figured out how to put it all together. She has excellent knowledge about any product we needed to pick. I have my great grandmothers Ravioli table which we used to design a whole baking room around. It is my favorite room in the house. She works extremely well with contractors and subs and advocated for us along the way. She never gets rattled and is super fun to spend time with. I have worked with Juliana for approximately 6 months. She has helped me with a variety of home decor needs such as choosing and coordinating paint color for a bathroom and child's bedroom, and choosing a new bathroom light fixture and new bathroom faucet and shower finishes to update an existing bathroom. Juliana designed our kitchen in Glen Ellen and it came out beautifully. Right out of the first design we only made a couple of changes and she came back with the second design and it was perfect. She took me shopping and helped me pick out the appliances and tile/granite. We wanted to do it right the first time so we spent money on what counted and Juliana helped us spend less on the items that didn't show as much so we could stay within our budget. Our friends come and all want to know where we found the granite and we tell them Juliana found it for us! I wish we had another house for her to design!
