ABOUT JVB CONTRACTORS, LLC We were considering several items of improvements on a home we had recently moved into. we contacted four contractors and invited them to submit proposals on the various items we wanted done. Mr. Valencia of JVB Contractors, LLC was the first to respond. He went through the house and made note of each area's existing condition. He asked good intelligent questions. In one week, he presented his proposal. His proposal was shown with each area completely broken down in detail. Of the other three contractors invited, two came and looked over the list of scope. they were presented in basically oral lip service full of caveats and arm waving. We went with JVB Contractors, LLC. The crews he sent mirrored Mr. Valencia's attitude about quality. All areas were kept clean and orderly. The quality is as good as I have seen in working in construction for over seventy years in the trades. We selected JVB to remodel our tiny 3/4 bathroom with a complete redo of the shower. We are very happy with the excellent work they did. Jose is a great team leader, hardworking, responsive, and truly goes above and beyond to meet our needs. With their busy schedule I originally thought our project won’t finish on time. But these guys managed to get everything done without delay. Sometimes they work till past 7pm! There aren’t many contractors with this level of dedication these days.

We hired Jose and his team to do a major renovation of our master bathroom and a minor/moderate renovation to another bathroom. Overall, we are very happy with the results. The bathrooms look beautiful, and we feel that JVB Contractors did high-quality work in all aspects of the construction, including plumbing, plastering, laying and grouting tiles, and installing hardware. We would certainly hire the team again for future home projects. Pros: * Jose is very responsive. When we have questions/comments/issues, he always responds the same day, and often within the hour. * Solution-oriented. Whenever unforeseen issues or problems arise, Jose is quick to find solutions and address the need quickly. * Highly skilled. Throughout the project, Jose and his team always came across as having the skills and depth of knowledge to accomplish tasks using best practices * Timely. Even with a few unanticipated setbacks, JVB completed the project within the overall estimated timeline. * Respect for household and property. JVB made every effort to protect flooring, furniture, and other surfaces while performing the work. Areas for improvement: * Communicating weekly schedule. We never knew exactly what tasks were planned for any given week, or when these intermediate milestones were expected to complete. This could have helped manage our expectations of when we'd be able to move from our guest room back into the master bedroom. * Communicating daily schedule. We understand that JVB has multiple projects going at once, but there were several days where we didn't learn until that morning that the team would not be working at our property on that day. We would have preferred to know a day or two in advance when they wouldn't be on site. * Not closing the front door. The team frequently came in and out of the house to cut or prepare materials outside, or to swap out tools from the truck/van. Too often they left the front door open for lengthy periods of time, sometimes as long as 15-20 minutes. Despite any of our nitpicks, JVB was easy to work with, and we would easily recommend them to others.

We are very happy with all of the work Jose and his team did for our new home! They did an outstanding job replacing our carpet with LVP and helped redesign multiple parts of our new house. We were looking for a contractor who was honest, communicative, and had excellent attention to detail. Jose and his team have all of these qualities and their work is of the highest quality. Additionally, Jose was always very transparent and clear about work that needed to be done and why, which was very helpful for us as new homeowners. Other contractors might not explain things in full detail or take days to respond, but this was never the case with Jose. When I found JVB contractors, I had just bought a townhouse in the Seattle area and was naive to contractors in this area. I called JVB after having just fired the first contractor who was not delivering what they'd promised. Learn from my mistakes, please properly vette your contractor, make sure to get references and call them. Jose sent many references which I called and verified. Jvb is bonded and insured. It was a pleasure getting to see him and his crew do their work. Jose and crew fixed everything the previous guy botched up, they went above and beyond to accommodate my situation and did top notch work. I will be using them again for future projects. Jose is just a wonderful human being. We're very experienced home-remodelers and I've honestly never met a contractor who is as conscientious and kind as Jose. I've never caught him cutting corners and he is responsive almost to a fault, often replying to texts within 5 minutes even while on another jobsite. You'll never feel like a crazy, demanding, ignorant homeowner if you work with him. He is supremely patient and understanding, and truly wants to do the right thing for you. We've worked with him on many projects from tiny one-off repairs to sweeping renovations, and he has been wonderful to work with every time. His work is also extremely meticulous -- he always makes sure he's well-versed on the latest best practices for any obscure/complex tasks required for the job. We feel very lucky to have found him and will hire him until he's sick and tired of us!

After receiving his contact information on referral from a friend of mine who was very pleased with a remodel Jose did for him, I texted Jose about the job I had. Unlike others I have approached, he immediately engaged in a dialogue to determine my exact needs and within a few minutes had ordered the product for the required installation. He then arrived on time at the appointed hour and completed the job efficiently. His billing was great--he gave me an exact estimate and sent a bill immediately upon completion, which I paid online. I had a built in shelf unit in one of my living room walls that I wanted demo'd out and then re-done as a single recessed shelf. It wasn't a big job, but also not small, so finding someone who would even quote the project was tough. Jose was very easy to contact, did a free walkthrough within a day or two, got pricing to me within hours, and scheduled to start work within a day. It was easy and quick and the finished project looks fantastic. They were careful to cover the entire floor area from the front door, up one flight of stairs and all the way to the living room so there was no tracking around of dirt of dust on the carpet, and they covered the rest of my furniture as well. Once they were done, they cleaned the area, pulled up the floor covering and it was just as clean if not more than when they started. I'll definitely be using Jose for future projects!

I have been working with JVB and team for the last several months on projects ranging from a series of small daily tasks to large projects (new shed in the back, deck renovation). JVB does excellent quality work, is communicative and timely and just very easy to work with. First of all, obviously you hired folks for the end result. Every one of our projects from them has been of the highest quality and well done. We are extremely happy with the shed they built as well as the deck renovation. You will be very pleased with what they accomplish for you. Home projects these days are also plagued with rising costs, sometimes well-meaning but unreliable folks to work with, and estimates that dont always reflect your original intent. Now, costs are up. There is nothing you can do about that. However Jose and team are upfront and clear about those costs. They also will let you know whether after starting a project if there could be additional costs (sometimes for example removing old materials might uncover other issues etc.). these folks are open, honest and make the process as easy as possible. In addition, they get the project done in a reasonable amount of time- almost always exactly when they say they will. This is the first company I have worked with in a long time that is that reliable, upfront, and easy to work with. Finally Jose is a very creative expert who will help you think of options that will work for your needs and fit into your budget. His team is professional (they clean up every day after themselves), kind, and collegial. You will not only get a quality project done but you will enjoy working with the team and pay what you thought you were going to pay. 5 stars - easy. Im asking them to do all of our house projects!

Jose and his brothers came through for me and within my budget. He was very responsive and professional, he knows his stuff and will work even beyond the hours allotted to get things done. After a water leak was fixed, I needed his team to pour concrete to seal the slab, repair and repaint the walls, reinstall the toilet and replace the flooring, which extended to the rest of the house. There were some changes along the way but he was very flexible and made sure even little retouches were done. I was very satisfied and will surely get his services again for the rest of the house, and refer him to others I know who need reasonable contractors.

We recently had our bathroom remodel completed with JVB Contractors, I wanted to wait for a few months before posting this to make sure we don't have any issues over time with the work performed, our shower looks great and the epoxy grout we choose to go with definitely worth the extra dollar we spend on it (vs regular grout) This company is great to work with and provided us with a full daily schedule before our project started which give us confidence and minimize our question during the process, workers was friendly and on time and overall we are very happy! Jose stay in touch and text us once in a while to check how we like everything and if we need something which is great! We are planning on redo our kitchen next year and JVB Contractors will be our first phone call no doubt.

I had the best experience with Jose. I had a project to install tiles in my bathroom and he was quick to respond and very reasonable. My bathroom looks better than I imagined. He even went out of his way to accommodated some other smal fixes around the house. Which actually pushed his initial timeline but he did not mind helping me with those minor issues. He is reliable, professional and has lot of skills, was able to quickly figure-out things and fix. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again for other projects.

I asked Manuel and his crew of JVB Contractors to do a partial bathroom remodel. A small job, hard to find anybody who would do it for a fair price. Estimate was very reasonable, turnaround was quick, I got sound advice, saw only professional attitude, like in the good old days. Couldn't ask for anything more. Manuel is a true professional. The way he blended the new plaster with our home's old plaster after installing a window is so impressive. No one can tell. He is great at what he does. He's done extensive work on our house. It turned out well. You can tell he and his team care a lot about workmanship. They are so happy while they work and have an amazing work ethic.
