Kate Lester Interiors

I was fortunate to work with KLI early in her launch of the design firm. And it was clear (even with my very small scale project) that Kate Lester and KLI was destined for big things and huge success in this field. I am blessed to call Kate a friend and like any good friend when she saw the state of my rental bungalow in Santa Monica - in her loving but direct tone let me know it was time to stop living like a college frat boy and start living in a design that reflected my personal style and respected the space I spent so much time in. She was gracious to work with my limited budget and designed my small bedroom and living room. The bedroom to date (nine years later) hasn't changed much and is still true to her original design recommendation which I now refer to as "my sanctuary" (thanks to KLI) of calm and peace - light and airy with hints of coastal and a little glam. I was lucky to get her help when I did and am still grateful for it all these year later! From initial consult, to initial design concept, to completion, the whole process was seamless. She is a true professional with a keen eye for adding textures and creating depth, the ability to mix high end vintage or new with bargain finds (in my instance), has a wonderful disposition and in general a joy to be around. Who wouldn't want all of these things in a designer! I highly recommend KLI and hope to enlist their services again when I finally move out of my little Santa Monica rental and into my next chapter of adult life!
