We had a great experience with Amy and our kitchen remodel. The whole process was easy and much less intimidating than I expected, Amy is so kind and clearly knows her stuff and her help was invaluable. Visits to her office were so helpful to see tons of samples and options to choose from without having to drive all over town. Amy’s team was so kind and did an amazing job installing everything just as we had planned. Amy was there every step of the way and was quick to fix a small imperfection in one of the cabinet doors for us without us having to worry at all. I can’t imagine doing a kitchen remodel without Amy. She was enthusiastically recommended to us by a friend, and I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

Amy designed our recent kitchen upgrade and she made the whole process seamless and stress free, from the very first time we contacted her, until everything was completed. Amy was always available when we needed advice and even went out of her way to visit a tile store to help us choose our backsplash. Communication was fantastic and her recommendation for a contractor was top notch. The contractor and Amy coordinated every step of the work, starting with dates to begin the project to being in sync with whatever the next step involved. If anything was not right, Amy corrected it with no hesitation. Our kitchen was completely stripped down to the studs and for a project of this magnitude, we never had to worry, because Amy and the subcontractors had everything under control. Amy has a great office on Durant Road, and the samples on hand for everything you need in a new kitchen, for cabinets and counter tops, is right there to see. The process for selecting styles and colors is very easy due to Amy having you on site as the only customer being served and her time is dedicated to you only with no distractions. We highly recommend Amy for your kitchen remodeling project and we are extremely happy we chose her for our project.

If you are rennovating your kitchen for the first time - or for the fifth time - there is no one better than Amy to be by your side during the process. I was a first timer and I could not have done it without Amy. She was so easy to work with and really listened to us in regards to what we wanted - and what we didn't. She made the perfect recommendations that fit us perfectly. And then after that, gave us suggestions for all of the other resources (contractors, painters, flooring specialists, etc.) who were also so awesome! In the end, we ended up with new wooden floors, new counters, new island, new cabinets, newly painted walls and even a new bathroom off the kitchen - and ALL was done on time. You cannot go wrong with Amy!!!!

I worked with Amy to remodel my kitchen, half bath and family room. She was excellent to work with, very knowledgeable, and I am over the moon with the results of the remodel. She was able to connect me with a great contractor and from the demolition to the installation she was always available to help and support with any and all questions. We love our kitchen! We did a complete tear out of the old one - including walls, flooring, etc. Amy was there every step of the way from initial design ideas, cabinet types and locations, handles, working with the contractor and subs and ensuring installation was done just right. Amy is a detailed person and it shows in the detail of our design. Her installer Ashley is also excellent. The two of them have been working together for many years and we benefited from that as well. I have no hesitation in recommending Amy for any cabinet work in your home.

We had a unique situation - an almost 40 year old kitchen in a large lodge type house. There were some significant structural and plumbing issues that had to be dealt with as part of the kitchen renovation and some design limitations to work around. We met with several contractor/design teams (who passed on the project) over three years before finding a general contractor and, at his recommendation, Kitchens By Amy who were willing to coordinate and tackle the project. Amy was wonderful to work with! She is very knowledgeable, reliable, and patient; is a great and empathetic listener; and has a lot of resources and a wonderful cabinet installer. My favorite things about working with her (besides the amazing results) were that she respected my cost consciousness and that she was not pushy - I had a basic vision (plus rough layout ideas I had come up with and lots of pictures) of how I wanted things to look and she brought it to life. She had really great ideas and suggestions and was very flexible when things needed to be changed because of limitations with the house or because of my early indecisiveness. Also, she is a super sweet, smart, and fun person! I will be using her again for several upcoming renovations.

Over the years I have worked with Amy on three major home projects -- a complete kitchen remodel (down to the studs), my master bath, and most recently my downstairs powder room. She is a delight to work with -- has an expert knowledge of construction, design, products available in all price ranges, and she listens well to the client and what it is you want rather than imposing her own tastes (which is what I have seen other designers do). All of her sub contractors are the best in their field and I have never met anyone more conscientious and detail oriented! Amy also has a creative flair--willing to think outside of the box-- and is well enough experienced to put any idea you might have into a workable plan. She will work with any budget --from high end to the budget conscious. Amy is a true gem when taking on a big home project! I would recommend her services without reservation!

We hired Amy to help us design and plan a major kitchen remodel. Amy was professional and patient and listened to our vision and needs. She quickly presented multiple designs and helped us understand the implications of each. Amy worked with our contractor on detailed planning through the job and helped guide us along the way. The cabinets she recommended were installed with high quality and on schedule. This was a significant undertaking for our family and we highly recommend her work.

I contacted Amy to change the footprint in my kitchen. I have a limited amount of space in my 15 year old home. I wanted to maximize the space and move the refrigerator to place it away from the entry. Amy did an AMAZING job and was very easy to work with. She suggested things I would never have thought of. I have had this redesigned kitchen in my head for over 5 years but wasn't sure if it would be possible space- wise. Amy was able to take my thoughts and ideas and turn it into a kitchen. The kitchen was finished beautifully; on time and on budget. The cabinets she ordered are gorgeous and beautifuuly made. Her installer, James Ashley, did a perfect, precise job. As a bonus he was very NEAT, cleaning up any and all debris at the end of the day. I used one of the contractors who works with her and I was very happy with him as well: Tim Mitchell, A & M Remodeling. A kitchen remodel is NOT an inexpensive project but you will live with the kitchen every DAY, many times a day, for a LONG time; best to use quality cabinets, designer, builder, installer and sub contractors. (BTW, it will be a lot more expensive than they quote on HGTV. HGTV designers must get their products free for the advertising.)And it was finished in 6 weeks! As promised! All in all, I couldn't be happier with my beautiful kitchen.
