Had a great experience working with Kristen and her team. What started out as a consult rolled into her being engrained in our whole project, and let me just say I am so relieved she did. It is such a weight lifted. She did her job so I could do mine without the stressors of a remodel! When in doubt hire the expert! My choice will be Kristen Elizabeth Design every time!

I was extremely skeptical initially about what value a designer could add to our project. After working with Kristen, I can't imagine trying to design a home without her services. One thing you can't tell from a designer's portfolio is whether or not they will be great to work with. A lack of commitment and responsiveness from an architect/designer can sidetrack or even ruin your project, no exaggeration. Rest assured that Kristen goes above and beyond to help inspire as well as keep you on track.

Kristen helped us decorate our new home. She assisted us with choosing window coverings, furniture, area rugs and other items. She is very professional, patient and creative. Some items arrived with flaws, Kristen noticed and had them all replaced. She is a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I purchased a home on the Outer Banks of North Carolina last year and to say that the house needed help is an understatement. The previous owner went to a Rooms To Go and picked out what to me could be described as hands down the ugliest furniture available. Couple that with paint from the 80's and you might just get a feel for what we were dealing with. Then, along came Kristen. A friend in California had recommended her and while we were a little hesitant working with someone so far away, our fears were quickly squashed. Kristen was always open to our ideas while helping us see the amazing possibilities our house had to offer. Her eye for detail and her incredible style transformed what was once a boring and (to us) ugly beach bungalow to an island oasis. We could not have done this without her! My husband Brad and I highly recommend Kristen Elizabeth Design to anyone looking for an intelligent, kind and thoroughly amazing interior designer.

We sought out Kristen to help to design out bathrooms. She passed our project along to an Intern who clearly didn't know what she was doing or how to manage her project time. Kristen knew the Intern Project Designer was having issues, yet she did not step in to take control over the project to make things right. We actually had to prove to her why the ideas presented would not work in our project (example: shelves being placed where there is a window etc.). Kristen knew our project was botched because of her Intern Assistant and Kristen's lack on supervision on the project. My contractor had complaints on the lack of communication regarding materials and measurements. The selected material that were presented to him didn't fit the spaces properly to where he had to present new materials to us . Kristen still expected payment on an incomplete job that caused extreme stress, so we paid her over $1000 for no functional designs for either bathroom.

I deeply regret how you feel about our service and your experience. My goal is to always provide the best customer experience in terms of design aesthetic, customer service and professionalism. I accept responsibility for assigning a less experienced designer to help with your job, however, it was agreed, based on the budget that a Jr. designer take the lead, with oversight from me. I was involved in all design direction and in communication with your contractor. We worked hard on your project together to present multiple design options and multiple revision requests within a very tight window. After evaluating our working relationship, it was clear that I could not fulfill your expectations and it was in our mutual best interest to step away from the project and allow you to work directly with the contractor or another design service. Because we were unable to complete your job to your satisfaction, I significantly discounted the final invoice and comped additional hours. We tried our hardest to make you happy. On all accounts, regrettable and I hope that your project was eventually completed with satisfaction.

I can't say enough about working with Kristen Elizabeth Design during the substantial remodel of most of our home! Decisions are difficult for us and Kristen really helped guide us through the overwhelming process, pushing us out of our comfort zone when necessary yet always listening and attentive to our concerns and priorities. She had a vision that did not disappoint and we are very happy with her design and all of her recommendations. She also worked very well with our contractor which made the process much easier for all! We have one more bathroom o do and we will absolutely be collaborating with Kristen once again!

Kristen was excellent!! She really helped us with the remodel of our kitchen and living room. Kristen was able to help us find the best fixtures, materials and appliances that fit our style and space. This project turned our better than we could have imagined. She is attentive and helpful from beginning to the end of the project. We will recommend her to all of our friends. If you are event considering remodeling a room in your home you should hire her!!

Working with Kristen was amazing. We hired her to draft the floor plans for our new kitchen and after doing so, we brought her on to manage the whole project. Couldn't have made a better decision! Kristen brought in all the professionals and reviewed their bids, she coordinated all the work between her tradesmen and the contractors, and she successfully troubleshot a number of issues as they came up. She sourced the majority of the materials and really worked to hear me on my style and preference. As a result, I have a gorgeous, timeless kitchen and am already planning on working with her again for our next project.

Kristen was such a pleasure to work with! We are doing a simple paint color change on the interior of our home. She knew exactly what I was looking for. At the end of her color presentation, we were so excited with all that she came up with. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a professional designer that is more than willing to listen to what you are wanting but also providing her knowledge and expertise which could end up taking you in a direction you had never even thought of and leaving you more than giddy to get the project completed.

We bought a house with an unfinished basement. After completing the rough construction and drywall’s, we needed help designing it to make it part of our home. Kristen listened to what we wanted and came up with ideas that made it the perfect place for our two active teenagers, family and friends. She shared ideas that were helpful and made the process very easy. From the bathroom area to the living room and the study, her creative style made the entire downstairs feel comfortable and stylish. Exactly what we wanted.
