I would like to recommend Lavin Design for not only interior design but also home design. After the pandemic, I wanted to build my dream home which provided space for all generations within my family including workspace. I wanted to ensure I built my sanctuary which would provide enjoyment for years to come. Roxana created a beautiful split plan which encompassed and highlighted the beauty of the land. The open floor plan faced a 300 year old grandfather Oak. This unique plan also allotted space for a mother in law suite and children’s room and office that were away from the open space plan between the kitchen and vaulted ceilings in the main room. Her expertise and thoughtful approach to the floor plan were invaluable and highlighted the talent which Roxana encompasses. Final finishes were above and beyond my expectations. When we first moved to Austin, we consolidated most of our things and our 2 biggest pieces of furniture was our coffee table and a TV console. We kept all of our possessions in a POD until we found a house. Well, we found a house but now we didn't have anything to sit or sleep on. Because it was a new space we wanted to make it in our style and functional...so we decided to try an interior designer for the first time. We found Roxanna through a referral. She met with us on a consult and we began working with her immediately. Even though we are not her typical clients- she would generally have a few weeks to build a concept and put it together ... but we needed things NOW! and she helped us with that. I loved discovering new and local furniture stores and mixing and matching pieces from more mainstream/well known stores. She worked with our style and existing items we had.

I had an idea for our bathroom remodel, and Roxana made it come to life - with so many improvements. She helped us sift through the noise and hone in on what we wanted in terms of function and made it all so beautiful. She is talented, incredibly kind, and went the extra mile at every turn. She stayed true to our preferences and requests but wasn’t afraid to let us know when she saw potential issues with our ideas or felt we’d be happier doing something differently. And she was right about all of it. Our bathroom is a dreamy oasis in our home and is now my favorite room in our house.

Bringing Roxana from Laving Design was the best decision we made when building our custom home. We hired Roxana after our project had already started and she immediately made important changes to our master bathroom and kitchen, and she gave both areas the design we were looking for. Working with her was very pleasant. Roxana understood our needs, made the whole process so much easier and made us feel very confident. We wish we had her amazing vision from the beginning of the project.

Roxana was great to work with, very responsive and understood the budget I had. We needed to outfit an entire office space and instead of going full corporate we decided to make it a little warmer and more comfortable for our small design agency. She provided options on furniture and artwork, also helped select paint and floor stain options. Everything was sent to us in sketches and it's lovely to see it all come together. We love coming into work, it's a warm and inviting space not just for all who work here but for our clients too.

Roxana is such a talented designer and so enjoyable to work with. She helped us find a solution when other designers told me it couldn’t be done. Roxana has an amazing ability to think outside the box.
