I have worked with Bruce Johnson, principal, on 4 major projects. Each of them has resulted in a great enhancement to my home. Most recently, after a surprise leak, a call to Bruce for assistance led to redoing the floor in my study. Bruce jumped into action, coordinated the whole thing including removing and replacing furniture and he personally made sure that every detail was attended to. This is a wonderful design build firm and their conscientious attention to detail makes a huge positive difference in the process and end result.

We used Lee Kimball to design and build our new kitchen and laundry/pantry space and had a great experience. The designers were very knowledgeable and helped us select the most up to date options that worked best for us. The construction team kept to their schedule, communicated well and delivered top quality work. We would highly recommend Lee Kimball.

Absolutely Outstanding After 20 Years!!! We just celebrated 20 years with our wonderful Lee Kimball kitchen, and it’s as impressive today as when it was first designed & built. The thoughtful, well-executed design remains functional on every level, showcasing timeless attention to detail. The flawless infrastructure endures, makes swapping out appliances seamless and effortless. The mahogany cabinets are as stunning now as the day they were installed. Every deadline was met, and the team’s professionalism made the entire process a great experience. No corners were cut. The many custom details and craftsmanship take it to the next level, and Lee Kimball's logistical expertise is second to none. It’s truly a pleasure to enjoy a kitchen that has stood the test of time. It has become a timeless, classic centerpiece of our home.

Lee Kimball was recommended to me by a friend. They remodeled my basement which included a bedroom, family room and a gorgeous movie theater room! Every detail was attentively executed. They run every project in a very professional manner with regular updates, and the best tradesman who take pride in their work. This was a major renovation and they made it painless and almost turnkey. They deliver what they promise and on schedule. I am so impressed that I have hired them again to update my kitchen. If there were more stars to award, I would give infinity! Where to begin to talk about Gregg and Bruce Johnson, brothers and owners of this company. We began our conversations with not a very clear picture of what we wanted, but because Gregg and Bruce listened, got to know our needs for the present and future use of our house, they were able to visualize the home of our dreams that would be with our family for what we hope is generations to come. They were sensitive to financial boundaries, never going above the ceiling. You want to do business with the kindest and most thoughtful people, who understand how important the project is...they went above and beyond. Gregg and Bruce wanted it as much as we did and were just as excited about it coming to completion. The planning process with our fantastic architect, Nancy Twomey was nothing short of miraculous. Nancy is well versed in Town bylaws and in fact, co-authored the bylaws in our Town; when we needed to go back to the drawing board, she was nothing if not so creative and we wound up with the best plan we could have ever imagined. Nancy remained engaged throughout the project and was always available for questions and consultation. Madison Cota (now Madison Jackson) made the design process so much less overwhelming than we thought it would be. She listened, understood our tastes and was very honest when we chose something that wouldn't work with the overall design, and of course gave workable alternatives. Each appointment was focused on one thing - plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, finishes, etc.- and was enjoyable every step of the way. You hear horror stories about contractors not showing up or communicating when they say they will. This was NEVER the case at Lee Kimball. From the time ground was broken, a day didn't go by that there wasn't someone working on the project. Everything was ordered well beforehand so there were no hold-ups with scheduling. The whole experience was seamless. The people coming into my house - Kevin, Mike, Lucio, Roger, Brad (I'm sure I'm missing some and I apologize in advance!) - were all respectful and kind and truly became part of our extended family. Not one mess was left by anyone at the end of any day. The communication via the online portal for everything was so handy. There were NO change orders that came from Lee Kimball's end - there were few, but they were all generated by us because we wanted to change a few things, not for any other reason. I can never say enough about Gregg and Bruce and their whole team at Lee Kimball. We are so glad to know them and honored to call them our friends and trusted them implicitly with our project. We are so happy with the result!

We engaged Lee Kimball for a recent home project to take a large existing front porch and create a smaller porch with a new entryway mudroom. From start to finish this project was smooth. Every aspect of this project was a breeze: from the initial planning to design to zoning requests and permits, the team guided us, answered our questions, and heard our goals. The team at Lee Kimball knows the industry well and each member of the crew was knowledgeable, friendly, on time, hard working, and detail oriented. Communication was easy and clear on our project from start to finish. The result is a space that blends beautifully in our home, and is so functional I wonder how we ever survived without it.

I cannot say enough about this company! We did a long distance renovation and they were, without a doubt, the BEST company we have ever worked with. From planning with the designer, choosing materials, regular communication and EXPERT craftsmanship, we are so happy with the result. For context, we have done many projects….. kitchens, bathrooms, etc. and we are super picky. The attention to detail and professionalism is a reflection of the owners, who are involved every step of the way. If I could give ten stars I would!

We have had a relationship with Kimball Kitchens for over 25 years. We have only the highest praise for them. Bruce and his team guided us through our kitchen project patiently always listening to our concerns no matter how trivial they were. After 25 years, we needed some small updates. They can back with the same care and expertise they had 25 years ago. This is a business who really cares for their clients as tho we were part of their extended family.

They kept us informed with daily photos and updates, weekly live meetings, and ongoing communication. Our project was a renovation of a full bathroom in our Victorian house. Right from the start to the very end of the project, the Lee Kimball team, which includes the design team, the construction team and the subcontractors are all very professional, courteous and responsive. The design team gently guided us along the way going through many iterations of our design plan and helping us eliminate costly items to stay within a budget with which we were comfortable. We collectively designed a beautiful bathroom that is perfect for our home. We cannot imagine not having Lee Kimball oversee the project as we had uncovered, as usual in our home, unforeseen issues that they were able to quickly address and for the ease of managing all of the subcontractors and keeping to a schedule.
