Just the Touch- Liling Lampell

This review is long due and spontaneous. Liling is an amazing person along with being an excellent designer. She will not simply recommend or design a certain flooring or tile versus another one and then move on. She honestly cares about the intent of the space, its flow and light and composition, and more importantly, the people who will live in it. She genuinely tries to know you and your project and then, quite humbly considering her knowledge, will present a very realistic rendering of how this space can be modeled and improved and a selection of very original materials, always with a subdue, elegant palette of colors. What I think will capture you is even more her honest and pleasant personality, which is a great bonus when you deal with stressful deadlines and costs.

Great sense of design . Very easy to work with . Amazing results. Liling took the time to work through all the details and produce something very special.

She is very open and collaborative with home owners. Great advice always. Flexible and easy to work with. She is always accessible. Her sense of style and artist background are invaluable in creating architectural digest worthy rooms!!

I worked with Liling on our kitchen and bath remodel projects. I enjoyed many aspects of working with her: - I really liked her aesthetic sense: Intuitively, her tastes are sharp, clean and cutting edge (which is what is like). She is flexible though and can can also be more conservative/traditional. - Strong client service orientation: She was always on time and extremely productive in her time with us. She sensed right away what we wanted (and did not want) and showed us images online on what our options were and well as vendors we could source the material from. - Easy to work with: I found her very responsive when we had follow up questions and available. She is clearly in it for the long term and not transaction based.
