My wife and I were introduced to Marteen Moore at the Las Vegas Design Center a few months ago when we were looking at design ideas. The whole staff was raving about her skills and personality, so we knew that it was our lucky day. We explained our project: A complete redesign and remodeling of our bathrooms. Marteen listened to us attentively, giving suggestions when requested. Within a week we had a design proposal for our final approval, so we went ahead. She met us at vendors to choose all the materials, here too acting as advisor. Then she introduced us to her long-time contractor, Alberto Escobar. They are constantly in touch, so it minimizes any potential issue, and it shows as the outcome was outstanding. What impressed us the most was their constant availability, whether by email or verbally, to ascertain that everything was on track. Marteen has impeccable taste and a wonderful personality and works very well with us. She has a fantastic ability to visualize and put colors and textures together. Marteen Moore Interior Planning did an outstanding job helping me put things together in my new home. She helped guide me to a good vision that fits with my wide range of “likes”. I was having problems with space planning. Normally that isn’t a problem for me but for some reason, I couldn’t get it right on my own. She has a natural sense for this and was able to make a huge improvement in my living room. My kitchen turned out fabulous. Once we found the perfect granite countertop she pulled it all together with all the other details like faucets, drawer pulls and backsplash. . She respected and worked with my whimsical/colorful style and that was important to me.

Without Marteen's guidance, this project would have been a disaster. My husband and I have very different ideas of design and color coordinating so building a 4800 sq ft house was going to be a challenge. Marteen listened to both sides and allowed them to come together beautifully. We had a basic concept of contemporary design and she understood immediately the vision we had and was a tremendous asset working with the architect to finalize little tweaks to the plans. Her knowledge of the intricacies of building from scratch was extremely helpful as this was our first build and we relied heavily on her to keep us focused and on schedule with the GC. After the completion of the construction, her furniture recommendations were excellent and her connections to the designer vendors was uncanny. We have a beautiful home which is comfortable and receives compliments from every visitor who comes through the door. I would and have recommended Marteen to everyone considering a designer. She is understanding, extremely friendly, knowledgably and always available for anything I throw at her. I consider her a true professional as well as a friend.

We worked with Marteen to transform our single story home’s main living area. She redesigned a chopped up floor plan with multiple rooms into an open concept design. She created spaces that are beautiful, functional with unobstructed views to the backyard and pool. The kitchen is beyond expectation with an 11’ island and seating for 5 people, just stunning. She incorporated a multi stacking glass sliding door system that allows indoor/outdoor extending living to the outside. Marteen was fantastic to work with and created a design that fit our vision.

Just like many of you, I have friends who can redo their house's all on their own. I am not that person. I wanted to make big changes in my house but I knew I needed professional help.
