Matt completely furnished our vacation beach house with exactly the feel we wanted. He was very patient and flexible as the builder took four years to complete! He worked very hard to minimize cost and maintain quality. Matt handled all the details! He stored purchases for a long time at no cost, coordinated moving, unpacking and oversaw installation. He was a pleasure to work with and communication was excellent. I highly recommend Matt for any project big or small. He has helped with some projects at our home in San Antonio as well and will be my go-to design professional.

We had wanted to totally upgrade our backyard, and I was overwhelmed with the thought of planning it. Seeing all the great reviews for Matt, I decided to spend the extra money on using a designer/project manager. Best decision ever- my backyard turned out even better then I could have ever dreamed. One of the best benefits that I had not even thought of when using a designer was when things went wrong (as they always do), Matt handled it, not me. He always returned my phone calls, and his recommended contractor Manuel was also great to work with, and Manuel guarantees his work. When our fire pit started to crack after a few uses, he came back multiple times to repair it and then ended up rebuilding it from scratch with no additional charge for his labor. Thanks Matt for making the process much easier and leaving me with a beautiful backyard.

Matt helped me tremendously to set up our vacation home in San Antonio. He has excellent work ethics and is knowledgeable and personable. He went above and beyond his traditional work responsibilities to help me set up our home while I stayed in contact remotely from Seattle during the entire process. If you are looking for an extremely trustworthy and reliable person for your home project, then Matt is your guy!

Really liked Matt’s work. He seamlessly blended color, edginess with class, transforming our suburban house into a unique and stylish haven (while maintaining resale value in a cookie cutter neighborhood). He was able to reuse-repurpose a lot of what we had and searched out new items to bring a complete facelift to our lower level. We especially appreciate that Matt listens and focuses on our desire to purchase used items (reducing our footprint) versus new. While it may take him more time to scour Facebook marketplace and consignment stores, every room now has character and radiates sophistication. A perfect balance of modern flair and timeless elegance. Thanks Matt!!

We hired Matt Mumme to remodel our vacation home in Texas hill country and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Matt’s keen eye for rustic elegance and attention to detail transformed our cottage to a luxury getaway. From the well-chosen furniture pieces to the earthy color palette, the entire design perfectly captured the essence of rustic/glam Texas Ranch living. He works with a contractor who does quality work and understands Matt’s eye for style. I highly recommend him for a renovation or decorating face-lift.

Heard from a friend about Matt and Mumme Interiors, gave him a call he came out and looked at everything I wanted, granted my house was built in 1948 and interior walls were stucco, the outside a nice white rock from that Era. Matt and his team were able to remove all of the stucco in the interior while preserving the outside wall. Throughout the whole project Matt was right there to answer any questions I would have. Him and his team were able to do a full remodel of my house, while also doing upgrades as far as structural improvements. The end result was amazing. I wish I could show every step from what it was to what it is now. Trust me if your looking for someone that's going to do a great job and hand you the keys for say once done, I suggest you call Matt with Mumme Interiors.

Matt helped us with several small decorating projects in our Mahncke Park home. He understood our needs right away, had great ideas, and kept within our budget. We are extremely happy with the results. He also has a great sense of humor. I recommend him highly!

I have been a real estate broker for 49 years. Mostly Farm and Ranch investment and income producing properties. I recently bought a property with a house on it that had not been occupied for eight years was dated and in bad shape and a remodel had been started on and not completed. I had no idea what to do with it so I called Matt and he came out and looked and gave me his opinion and ideas. I agreed and he took over from there and I didn’t have to do anything no looking for stuff no picking items no dealing with labor no hassles. In 10 weeks he completely redid the place updated it modernized it and made it a beautiful home. Through the whole process he kept me updated return calls and kept me abreast of what was going on. We had people coming by every day wanting to see the house and many wanting to buy it. We were able to sell the house before it was even completed. I seldom write reviews but in this case I felt compelled since Matt did such a good job. I strongly recommend him
