I can't recommend Melissa from M Prevost Design highly enough. I discovered her by chance on Houzz, and after interviewing several interior design firms, it was clear she was the perfect fit for our project and for us. Melissa took the time to help us define our personal style, and she delivered exceptional results. We even relied on Melissa more than our architect for key spaces in our home, such as the kitchen and primary bath. When we encountered significant changes during the project, Melissa remained steadfast in her support and seamlessly adapted to our revised goals. She kept the project moving forward at the right pace and handled any production issues quickly and professionally. The result is an absolutely gorgeous home that perfectly blends comfort, usability, and timeless beauty—all thanks to Melissa. Everyone who visits immediately falls in love with it, and most importantly, we absolutely adore it. It’s perfect! Melissa is a true gem in the interior design world. My husband and I had no idea where to start with our kitchen and bathroom remodel. A friend suggested we check out Melissa's portfolio. Right away, we were impressed by her finished projects. We were looking for someone to help us create a timeless style with modern touches, and it was clear Melissa had a talent for that. After our initial meeting with her, we knew she was the designer for us. Not only is she a talented, experienced designer, she also really listened to what we envisioned and had great suggestions to make our kitchen and bathrooms much more functional. She walked us through each step of the remodeling process, taking what could have been an overwhelming experience and making it a fun and exciting one. Everything was lined up and ready to go by the time we began construction, which helped to make the entire process run as smoothly as one could expect. We love her eye for detail and color and are beyond thrilled with our new kitchen and bathrooms. She brought our vision to life! Our contractor also enjoyed working with her and appreciated her well detailed drawings. She is a true professional, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking to remodel!

Melissa guided us through a full kitchen and bathroom renovation. The outcome is outstanding, with spaces that are both beautiful and functional. The layout of our kitchen is especially praise worthy and has been life changing for our family of four. It’s spacious in and so easy to navigate and enjoy. It feels so “us” which Melissa was able to achieve with her recommendations, price points that worked for us, and again, the functional, livable materials, layout, etc which we’re all so important.

My husband and I are just completing a 2.5 year new home build and worked with Melissa through the entire project. She assisted from the design phase with our architect through furniture install and we are SO grateful for her skill, giftedness, kindness and how much she truly cares. Every detail that was important to us became her priority. She helped us realize our overall vision and aesthetic in the beginning and then carried that throughout the project, always bringing us back to our original design goals. She helped us stay on budget and considered high and low items to get there. She helped us think outside of our narrow understanding of design and create a home that is comfortable yet elevated in every way. She has wonderful relationships with trades that presented us with options we wouldn’t have had otherwise. She was able to problem solve through challenges that arose in a very professional, thoughtful manner. Melissa cares so much and poured her heart into our project. My wife and I worked with Melissa on the remodel of the first floor of our 1500 sqft condo. Working with Melissa was a terrific experience from start to finish. She was able to provide incredible design options for our kitchen and living spaces that displayed her expertise in maximizing space, our views and including our tastes and feedback along the way. The project became complex as we had to include an architect, permits and the city to receive permits. Melissa assisted us with navigating these challenges flawlessly by utilizing her network and experience to introduce us to resources we could leverage and trust. Our project turned out even more amazing than we ever thought it could have. She helped us choose amazing products with styling that fit our space and preferences. She's able to subjectively make recommendations without influencing your own decisions while steering you in the right direction. I highly recommend working with her if you're looking to be wowed by your end product of any major home design or remodel project.

We had been wanting to remodel our 20 year old home for several years. We found Melissa by chance and are so thankful we did. We remodeled our kitchen, laundry room and master bath. Melissa has been amazing! We had no idea what to expect, where to start or how to tie the whole project together (styles, colors, finishes etc). She listened to our needs and concerns, gave us suggestions and ultimately designed the most amazing spaces for our home. She reimagined our kitchen to give us the gas stove we didn’t think we’d be able to have. Melissa has been there for us every step of the way. The last year has been challenging due to Covid but Melissa was able to keep everything moving forward. She is always gracious. Always professional. And SO talented. We couldn’t be happier!

Melissa has worked with us on two houses - new construction and staging a home to sell. Each time she was very thorough, timely, thoughtful and professional. She believes in quality workmanship and has trusted contractors with whom she works. She was able to hone in on our style and find items that looked great and were within our budget. She is very conscientious and detail oriented. We were very happy with Melissa!

Melissa does outstanding work. She designed a master suite overhaul to enable a larger closet and workspace for me as well as update everything with a clean, modern Spanish vibe. We are so happy with the way it turned out, we want Melissa to design a full house renovation for us! She creates just the right balance between beautiful and functional. And, she's very professional and easy to work with, so much so that the contractor I used on my project has asked her to work with him on several others. I honestly feel that she's cares as much (maybe even more) about the outcome of the project as her customers do.
