We worked with Metro for the renovation of our entire first floor, which included the kitchen, bathroom, and living room. The project included things like new flooring, cabinetry, appliances, furniture, painting, lighting, etc. We enjoyed working with our designer Sam and the build team led by Tony. Together they helped create a space that our family will enjoy for years to come. Metro's attention to detail and the ideas they bring to a project really set them apart. We also love the fact that Metro is small, and for us local, business. I highly recommend both their design and build services.

The Metro Team were incredible! They were professional, easy to schedule with, and the ceiling fan they installed for us came out exactly how we envisioned! They also left our place spotless after completing the job which was very much appreciated. I cannot recommend this company enough, and would happily call them for any future work we need to do!

Strongly recommend if you're seeking high-touch craftmanship. True professionals that have a great balance of meeting your vision while bringing great/creative ideas to the table. The whole team brought such care and attention to detail, which earned our trust and made us feel valued throughout this process. They helped us create bespoke pieces (credenza, fireplace surrounded by built-ins) along with several minor updates that helped make our whole house feel custom and cohesive.

We hired the Metro team for our design/remodel and were very impressed throughout the entire process. We had a tight timeline due to our baby arriving and they hit it, which was incredible. The team is seasoned, organized, professional, reliable, detail oriented and very communicative which we greatly appreciated. It’s now been two months and my husband and I still say at least once a week how happy we are with our new home and how much we love what they’ve done. We highly recommend Heather, Tony and Josh to take on your project and make your home the place you can’t wait to go after a long days work!

Metro Design Build is amazing. We hired them to remodel a bathroom in our house. The entire process was seamless. Kate helped us develop the perfect design that came to life beautifully. Josh, the general contractor, oversaw the construction. The high level of communication and attention to detail blew us away. The peace of mind and finished product was worth every penny. Metro Design Build recently completed the gut remodel of our full bathroom and powder room and we couldn't be happier with the final result. The owners Heather and Tony were very involved throughout the entire process, which is one benefit of going with a boutique firm. Our designer Kate did an amazing job bringing our dreams to life with her gorgeous design plan. Being working professionals, my husband and I didn't have time to micromanage a job site and we didn't need to worry about that with Josh as the construction project manager. He put us at ease that everything was moving along as planned and provided frequent updates and constant communication throughout the process. The quality of their workmanship and attention to detail is top notch, I have never seen such perfectly laid tiles. When I initially spoke with Tony, I told him that we wanted our bathrooms to be something special, with a unique style and focus on design and craftsmanship - not just something I could pick out myself from a big box store. Metro helped us realize that ideal. Our finished bathrooms are not only beautiful, but more functional. It was a pleasure to work with the entire Metro team from start to finish. Can't wait to work with them again in the future for our kitchen remodel!

Beyond friendly and responsive and thorough. A pleasure to work with. Coordination of the work was well done, and we were always kept up to date on planning and progress. Communication was simple and responsive. Attention to detail was easily evident throughout. We are thoroughly pleased with the bathroom remodel they did for us. WE certainly will use them for any future work with us.

Tony and his team were such a pleasure to work with! Tony was very professional, detail oriented and always followed through with commitments. The work was truly impeccable and we look forward to using Tony and his team again when we tackle the next few projects! Note, we had almost all flooring replaced, 2 full baths fully redone, doors moved from one place to another (and then dry walled), and more— all within our very tight timeframe of 6 weeks!

Metro did a great job renovating our bathroom. The design process was a major added value from what we saw at other places. The designers, Kate & Sam, really listened to what we wanted, and they also presented options for us to consider that resulted in a bathroom that looks great and is not just some cookie-cutter project. During the construction, the quality of the work was great, and Metro did an excellent job communicating with us about each step along way, including when there were a few delays due to supply chain issues. Josh was our project manager for the construction, and he was excellent in communicating and addressing any minor issues that came up.

We hired Metro Design Build to turn a blank boring wall of our living room into a focus wall, and they didn't do that.....they turned it into a SHOWSTOPPER!!!! It exceeded our expectations, and they were so professional the entire time and the trades/vendors they used were super on top of it. The entire room looks different from the minute you walk in the front door. It has changed not only the way the room feels, the property value of the home, but also how much we LOVE our home. I cannot recommend Metro enough, and have since given their info out to countless clients. Thank you Tony, Heather and the whole gang!!!

Having just completed my first full-scale bathroom re-model, I cannot recommend and thank the crew at Metro and particularly Tony Pino, enough. Tony initially responded to my plea on a neighborhood group after I was let down by another contractor AFTER having done the demolition! He happily took on my project at short notice, was endlessly helpful with design ideas, cheerfully put up with my indecision and changes-of-mind, worked seamlessly with sub-contractors, and encouraged me in making choices that worked beautifully. That the workmanship and finishes were of impeccable quality was just the icing on the cake, and I think the results speak for themselves! Thanks Tony, and your whole team... I can and do whole heartedly recommend Metro Design & Build to anyone, first time or seasoned remodeler!

What you see on Instagram is not what you get from Metro. I learned my $100,000 lesson the hard way by not checking their work with my own eyes. Specifically, I would recommend looking at projects not posted on their social media, if you are considering using this company. My fairly basic kitchen renovation with a new fireplace facade, TV cabinet, and shelving has taken over 8 months to complete. (We are still waiting for them to address concerns we have had for months). And we are still trying to get Metro to come back and finish things installed incorrectly or installed with damage done. The owner Tony is completely untrustworthy, incommunicative (he will only reach out when a bill is due), and called me passive aggressive when I reached out about my concerns with the lack of quality in their workmanship. We also had numerous details overlooked in the construction process from not having our wood floors covered during painting to the electrical work for our oven not being completed before they drywalled and installed cabinets. So the oven we waited 8 months for couldn't be installed due to their negligence and oversight. Tony said they would come and fix all of this and we are still waiting for that to be done. I spent hours on my hands and knees scraping paint off of our floor and chandelier. We were overcharged on our invoice and luckily we noticed because nobody on Metro's end said anything. Tony did not follow through on his word and at this point I would rather pay someone else to finish this project. I am sick to my stomach with how much this cost and the lack of integrity this company had while in my home. I would suggest going with a much cheaper and higher quality of work. The only thing I would recommend is using Heather for design.
