We met with Robert to discuss furnishing the living room and dining room (open adjoining spaces) in our newly purchased home in Chicago. We talked style, how we expected to use the space and budget. He nailed it – perfect combination of vintage mid-century modern and contemporary pieces as well as interesting light fixtures to complement it all. And he stayed within our budget! Robert was a pleasure to work with and we’d highly recommend ModLife Home!

I would highly recommend Robert for helping to design and decorate your home. We hired Robert after we had the bulk of our furniture and design decisions made, but we were not fully satisfied with what we had done. We asked him to help us improve 3 spaces however he could for $10k. He did an excellent job, and his discounts saved us money even after his commission! Best of all, he helped rearrange what we had to improve certain spaces without adding anything, which helped us trust that he was there primarily to improve the space and only second to increase his business. Attached is a picture of our bedroom, where he had the most freedom. He picked the rug, the beautiful hand-made bed, the side lamps, and the accent wall. If you're looking to improve what you already have, don't hesitate to hire Robert!

I recently hired Robert Zizzo from Modlife Home to help me transition from my home to an apartment. As you can imagine its a big change and an emotional move not to mention I went from almost 3k square feet to 1k square feet. I asked Robert to help make my new place feel like home as well as making it functional. He exceeded my expectations and has continued to go above and beyond each and every step of the way. Robert is smart, resourceful, creative, responsive and a good listener(ie. Respectful of my taste and budget.) He also collaborates well and is fun to.work with. We were looking for an elegant, distinctive and comfortable family/entertaining room and we have achieved this goal. I would work with Robert again on larger projects.

Robert from Modlife has an incredible eye for finding stunning Mid-Century pieces. He also has the ability to pick furniture pieces and "recreate" them with updated fabric. I have purchased Mid-Century chairs from Modlife and also had him create ones that we could not locate in order to match the rest of our furniture. He is easy to work with and super creative!
