Since my professional training as an Interior Designer in residential and commercial properties, I have come to treasure the experiences I have on a daily basis--transforming spaces into beautiful and functional places. Through my own experience, I have identified several sources of anxiety in relation to decorating and design. The most daunting of course is budget. The opportunities are obvious if you have a large budget, however on a limited budget we are forced to look at pieces we already have and reinvent them. Choosing the right paint colours, reupholstering an old chair, adding pillows with cheerful and colourful patterns, bold or less patterned wallpaper in an entryway, powder room, or even on a focal wall in a dining room can update and revitalize your surroundings.

Helped with design and decor in a new condo I moved into. There weren’t any major renovations involved, however Moya helped select paint colours, light fixtures, tiling, draperies, carpets, furniture and accessories. While being respectful of my taste, her selections were modern and beautiful. As well, Moya hired professional vendors and contractors to complete the project.

We felt so comfortable with Moya as she worked with us to help update our space while still maintaining our personal style. Moya helped us to work with what we had and encouraged us to open our minds to modern updates that still fit with the style of our home. Moya was exactly what we needed for our renovation! I really could not say enough about how positive of an experience it was in working with her. It was a large renovation and she was involved every step of the way on all of our interior finishes; flooring, kitchen design, lighting, fireplace, paint colors, and now we are onto furnishings. She is very warm and inviting and really listens to what you want to achieve from the space and guides you in the right direction. I would not hesitate to use her again, and if you are planning a renovation or even a spruce up with new furniture and paint she will make sure you get the look you imagine for your space.

Moya is amazing! Very friendly and professional and an absolute joy to work with. For someone like me who is "design challenged", I felt great relief knowing that Moya would make my condo renovation an outstanding success. She was patient, kind and understanding every step of the way especially since I didn't have a clear vision in mind for my remodeling. Moya's suggestions really helped make my project hugely successful.

So many thanks to Moya. The St. John's Arts and Culture Centre project was a huge undertaking including carpets, seating, and furniture accents. Moya made sure that our colour and fabric selections met our functional requirements, but also wanted to make sure that they enhanced the unique wood and stone features of the building. Her work has made our concourse and theatre vibrant again, and we are already receiving great compliments on the new look for the ACC. I would highly recommend Moya, for job very big and small.

Commented: Ugh! Still cannot decide paint color.☹️I agree with comments that suggest to paint all the same color if white: top, rail and lower including baseboard. My favorite white right now is BM OC17 Dove White. Good Luck!
