I really can’t praise the dream team at Monterey Kitchens and Bath enough. Guido and Victoria are a pleasure to work with and everything was made easier for me because of their experience, support and talent. They took my kitchen project ideas and created spaces far above what I could ever imagine. I looked forward to meeting with them and watching my little kitchen space evolve before my eyes. I received so much attention it felt like I was their only client. Unlike my contractor, Guido, and Victoria were always available to me. Always. Guido is an experienced, creative designer with excellent taste who thinks outside the box. He went with me to pick my stone and backslash even offering to drive me to the Bay area for more choices. Victoria did all the 3D plans in order that my non-3 demential brain could see exactly what the space would look like, as well as the plans to submit for a permit. Guido and Victoria helped me pick and buy appliances, which is not easy these days. Every detail was handled including buying hardware, plus they purchased for me so I got discounts. They created a three-ring binder that was a godsend for the contractor. They were my support system and I will never forget that without them, my gorgeous kitchen would never have happened. Very impressed with their services and the quality of their cabinets. We had a complete house rebuild after a fire. Our contractor recommended Monterey kitchens to help with design of our house. We have not made a better decision in rebuilding our house than hiring Monterey Kitchens. They helped us with every aspect of designing including basic room layout, floor & tile choice, lighting design, complete kitchen and bathroom design, appliance choice, and more. We were warned that rebuilding a house can be stressful and it was at times, but everyone at Monterey Kitchen was very responsive to help with questions and advice. Many sleepless nights for us were avoided. When a problem did come up, rather than point fingers and it did turn out to be a mistake of one of the subcontractors (not one they recommended, we were using a friend), they immediately came up with solutions. Months after they have been paid in full, they continue to help with advice and any questions. We did purchase our cabinets through them as well. While we could have found cheaper cabinets, the quality of both the product and the installation was worth more. So glad we found them and I couldn't imagine working with anyone else!

We worked directly with Heidi Woods of Monterey Kitchens during our kitchen and bath remodel. We presented Heidi with our rough layouts as well as photos of kitchens and baths that appealed to us. We felt Heidi understood the look we were trying to achieve and she worked towards that goal. When we struggled with selecting our wood cabinetry Heidi presented a wood species with a stain/high lighting that was perfect for the casual look we were going for in our home. We have received many compliments on our Crystal wood cabinetry. Kudos to Heidi. During the kitchen and bath installation process Heidi was available to answer any questions that arose related to install. Heidi truly offered outstanding customer service. My husband and I found Heidi extremely easy to work with from start to finish. We definitely feel Heidi was instrumental to the success of our kitchen and bath remodel.

Guido Ausenda of Monterey Kitchens has provided the cabinetry for two previous home renovation projects I have designed, and I have recommended him for a third project which he is now working on. The cabinets for the kitchens and bathrooms in the first two projects came out beautifully, and the clients were very pleased with the final results, so I recommended him and his company for a very large current project. Guido and his staff bring a very deep sense of style and sophistication to their design expertise. As a residential building designer, I design the general layout of the kitchen and bathrooms, but I prefer to turn over the details for the cabinets and appliances to a professional like Monterey Kitchens. These people know their stuff. Monterey Kitchens has visited the current job site multiple times for developing the multitude of details required for a large project. I have relied on Guido and his staff many times for input on decision making for many of these details. I was just at the job site recently, and noticed a thick, well organized binder with cabinetry drawings and details, and I was impressed with such a level of organization.

We have a small kitchen that needed a complete remodel. Monterey Kitchens listened to our needs and wants and gave us exactly what we wanted. Monterey Kitchens finished the project on time and on budget. We are thrilled with the new kitchen.

I hired Guido Ausenda from Monterey Kitchens Inc. to design and plan my cabinetry requirements for my beach house that I am remodeling in the Del Monte Beach area of Monterey. My original scope was not to plan on spending as much money on the cabinetry but I am so glad I engaged his knowledge and expertise to work with my contractor and architect. The house is a reverse floor plan meaning that the living space is upstairs to capture the beautiful ocean views and so space planning was crucial as both my husband and I are cooks and entertain a lot. If anybody is embarking on such a project, all I can truthfully say is that hiring an expert with years of experience is the key to a smooth and successful remodel. Without Guido's expertise, creativity, connections with other vendors and wealth of knowledge this project would not have turned out as seamless and beautiful. He was instrumental in challenging the design plans, use of space, materials and excellent at facilitating and working with the contractor and his crew in bringng solutions and design ideas to many of our challenges. Guido and Annie really made the difference and were instrumental to the success of our remodel. We are truly grateful we listened to him.
