Nina has been wonderful to work with on reimagining and updating the interior design of our home. For instance, the dining room started out as a big empty space. Nina was able to design cabinetry and seating, lighting and furniture choices to make it into a room we could entertain in, while having much needed storage. Nina was a true blessing in our first home design project. We purchased a new construction house in the Palo Alto, and while the finishes were well done, we wanted to infuse our personal style. As conservative designers, we turned to Nina to push our boundaries and introduce design concepts and combinations that we would have never considered on our own. Our home needed to be child-friendly for our toddler and incoming twin infants, which added a layer of complexity. Nina was our designer of choice for our full kitchen and full bath remodel, as well as a sprucing up of our dining room. During the design phase, Nina provided us with two concepts for each room, and often we would naturally choose opposing ones. However, Nina excelled in helping us merge our ideas or giving us her expert eye when we couldn't decide. Even when we presented her with vague concepts, she took the time to understand our vision and guide us in the right direction. Our kitchen required numerous iterations due to the cabinet layout, but Nina was patient and provided us with numerous versions and ideas without overcharging us. The outcome was incredible. Our spaces are now not only beautiful, but they also resonate with our style and daily routines. The dining room project, which we expected to be a small project, turned out to be a game-changer. We now use the room every day, and it flows seamlessly with the other rooms. Throughout the entire process, Nina was available to us for consultation via email, text, video, and in-person meetings. She even accompanied us to a local tile shop, linked us with vendors, and connected us with our contractor. As the project came to an end, Nina continued to offer her expert advice on new paint colors to transition the new spaces seamlessly with the old.
