Olwyn did a great job refreshing our landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed our new yard. We were pleased with her choice of plants and flowers and the basalt fountain. She made a smooth transition from a freshly redesigned backyard to the existing side yard. She was very easy to work with, kind and pleasant. Her crew was good to work with. We stayed close to our budget but the timeline stretched out longer than expected. Overall, we had a good experience and would highly recommend her.

Olwyn designed a landscape plan for our front and back yards involving both hardscape changes and an almost complete change out of plantings. She was very creative about the use of our small space, had a nice esthetic sense, and was forward thinking, using drought resistant plants even before the drought that has hit Southern California these past few years. We found her to be down to earth and easy to work with, and we were very happy with our new landscaping.

We moved into an old house on almost an acre of land that needed a lot of attention. It wasn't just that it had landscaping issues but also materials and topography had to be addressed. Olwyn was very patient in listening to our large list of desires and came up with a beautiful concept that developed into the backyard we truly wanted. Her creativity and vast knowledge of design and plants, birds and butterflies. blended our many areas seamlessly. She integrated old and new and it all turn out better than expected. Olwyn truly helped us in making many difficult decisions. If that isn't enough, Olwyn is a great person, lovely to be around and easy to work with. We fully recommend Olwyn for all landscape needs.

Great experience working with Olwyn Kingery! She created a beautiful plan that was everything my husband and I hoped for and more. Our backyard and pool were blighted and depressing. The pool and spa hadn't been serviceable for years, the retaining wall was disintegrating, the deck was cracked and the patio cover was falling apart. Enter Olwyn. She "got" us as soon as she came through the door. She worked closely with us on every aspect of the remodel, asked lots of questions, and offered many suggestions that were exactly what we wanted and we didn't even know it. She has an outstanding knowledge of plants and what will grow where. Her final plans were detailed and clear, with an outline of materials to be used. The contractor was able to pick up the plans and run with them without having to ask any questions. The finished job is spectacular. We couldn't be happier. Olwyn was so great, so easy to work with, and always had a smile on her face. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

Olwyn designed a drought-tolerant garden for my back yard, replacing the lawn. It involved over 3,100 square feet, incorporating meandering paths, a selection of plants that provide pleasing color and shapes, and fruit trees. She based the plan on my lifestyle and preferences. However, it was her sense of design that brought it all together into a garden that receives compliments from all who see it.

It's been nearly 9 months since we completed our landscape project and we are thrilled with the results. We live in a 1968 track home in Westlake Village and transformed the back and front gardens. This was a complete overhaul - a dynamic change in appearance. We wanted a garden that was contemporary with a nod to Japanese design that elevated the track home aesthetically and even addressed water consumption issues and focused on our desire to entertain family and friends. It was great working with Olwyn because I could bring out my years of ripped magazine pages from Sunset and Dwell magazines as well as my dog-eared books on landscape design. Somehow she made sense of it all - helping to control my impulses and working to give order and purpose to our landscape. Olwyn seems to move with great facility between styles and designs - she was able to give us a plan that was both original and visually satisfying. We love it!

Olwyn is a visionary, a true artist. Her knowledge, love, and understanding of nature started in her youth and continues to grow. She brings creativity and joy to all her work. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her work speaks for itself. My design was thoughtful, exciting and in tune with the environment. We are still so pleased.

Olwyn was the landscape designer on a recent huge remodel on my back yard. She drew the plans, and then provided information on contractors etc. She was excellent to work with; creative, flexible and responsive. We loved her plans, as they captured what we were looking for exactly. She worked with our contractors, who were all excellent, as she had said. I would definitely recommend Olwyn, and would hire her again if needed.

Olwyn Kingery Landscape Design has my highest recommendation due to her extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of hardscape and softscape design and implementation with the customer. I searched many years for someone with extensive knowledge of plants and she has an eye for this very visual world of color, texture, size and spacing. She really has a great passion and a very calm personality. I would not use anyone else and I have the highest respect for her vision and guidance in her field.
