Terrific yard you have. As for the front entry walk, several things jump out as unappealing including the tile.
1. It's too narrow for your entry porch approach. Widening the walkway will create a better scale to match the width of the porch entry. Typically 4'-5' is plenty
2. It turns at angles. Your other brick walkway with gentle radius turns would be very inviting for the front walk.
3. Of course the tiles are awful. I would match exactly the bricks and style of the your other walkway or do a concrete center and brick border if cost is a factor. As for the porch, there are thin brick veneers for that. If you can't match exactly, just bring it as close as possible and it will look fine too.
