We had a great experience building our custom home with the Olde Florida Contracting Team. Our main reason for choosing them was because of Jake's attention to detail; he is extremely thorough and kept us informed throughout the entire process. We stayed on track with the promised timeframe, and Jake was onsite, hands-on, and involved every step of the way. We have been in our home for nearly two years with no complaints. We highly recommend Olde Florida Contracting Inc. They surpassed our expectations.

Olde Florida did a complete kitchen remodel in my home. I was pleased with the cabinet material, the specialists that came into my home (cabinet install, plumbing, electrical, paint, etc.) and the overall project management which had materials and people here generally on time. Were I to do similar work again, I would definitely have Olde Florida come back and do the work.

Working with Olde Florida Contracting was the smoothest experience dealing with a contractor on a project I’ve ever had. My residential property was flooded from a storm surge during Hurricane Ian. After reaching out to several contractors who couldn’t provide any detailed estimates for the rebuild, we found Olde Florida Contracting. Jake Carter came out and we discussed what needed done, including a number of upgrades we wanted to make. Subsequently, I was presented with a very detailed estimate for the project, which I found to be very budget friendly. Olde Florida’s subcontractors did excellent work and were scheduled efficiently by Jake to minimize downtime. As a result, the project was completed in an expeditious period of time. The entire team at Olde Florida Contracting were exceptional to deal with, the quality of the construction was excellent, and the project pricing was reasonable and accurate. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Olde Florida Contracting to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and professional general contractor.

My wife and I hired Jake to build our new home on 5 acres, he was extremely accommodating with all the changes we wanted to do to his floorplan model and we absolutely love the finished product! Luckily he had ordered lots of materials way ahead of time as many other builders struggled to complete or even get homes started. Having an experienced builder in these crazy covid/material shortage times made it go much smoother. We can't thank Jake and his wife Chrissy enough for such a fantastic experience and truly appreciate them! We would definitely recommend their company to anyone looking to custom build new or remodel.

Jacob and his team took on a huge remodel for my family. The results were amazing! We stripped the house down and got all new windows, floors, drywall and roof. We also closed in a screened porch area and bumped out a bedroom. Jacob worked hard to get the job done efficiently. He responded to emails quickly and his office staff was great to work with. Olde Florida Contracting has completed three projects for our home. The first project, a complete kitchen & family room remodel, included the removal of two layers of ceramic tile covering 1,100 square feet of our home, outdated soffits & well-worn kitchen cabinets. The dated tile was replaced with Tesoro Mukali wood grain contemporary porcelain tile that immediately improved the entire look of our interior. This major project also included replacing the ceiling lamps, plumbing, ceiling fans, drywall & cabinets. In our eyes, a daunting task. After reviewing proposals from several contractors & seeking references, we selected Olde Florida. What a great decision! We found Jake & Chrissy to be congenial, knowledgeable & professional. They patiently guided us thru several iterations of the plans & we were completely satisfied with the final results. Our communications with Jacob & Chrissy were timely & pleasant throughout the entire project. We received a very detailed bid for this project & this allowed us to compare proposals from other contractors. There were no surprises or hidden costs throughout the project. Dealing with a reputable & ethical business was a significant goal for us & we were not disappointed. Jacob effectively managed all of the subcontractors who showed up as scheduled & completed their tasks as expected. The subs cleaned up each day & we were able to enjoy our home each evening. Jacob was a hands-on manager who routinely appeared on site & ensured that the subs met his quality expectations. Our high quality Starmark cabinets are the highlight of the remodel. The craftmanship is outstanding & the Slate varnish finish is absolutely beautiful. We’re so proud of our new kitchen & family room when we invite guests into our newly renovated home. In summary, this project was completed on time, within budget and we will eagerly invite Olde Florida to bid on future projects.

We completely renovated the kitchen down to the studs. Walls were moved and opened up. The appliances were all relocated. A vent and duct was installed for a hood. Many details go into a remodeling project and Jacob has a way of making it all smooth regardless of the little bumps. Excellent company that is quality, organized and friendly. They would be helpful and worth the money to anyone seeking home construction. Very glad we found them and are in love with the dream kitchen.

Olde Florida Contracting is a great company! I hired Jacob for my kitchen remodel. He is reliable, competent, and keeps to his schedule. He is accessible and always maintains an open communication. He understood what I wanted every step of the way. The men who did the work were timely, respectful, and after the days work was finished, cleaned the area well. We had a whole house remodel on Marco Island. We were out of our house for 5 months. We are so happy with the results. the workmanship was great. We were not happy with the painters job. The tile men did a great joy on all the flooring and tile work. The cabinet installer was great, he was so particular. Check out the pictures. We feel like we have a new house. Thank you, Jacob. We hired Jacob to demo and remodel our 2 bed/2 bath beach condo . We are ecstatic with the transformation! The 16 week remodel was on time and on budget . Living in another state, never presented a concern, as we were overly impressed with Jacobs' frequent and thorough communications, and his attention to every detail! Apart from a rude dry wall installer, everything was perfect. Not the cheapest contractor but this is the price to pay to get everything done properly and on schedule. I will hire them again.

Renovation of a Master Bathroom. Demolition of tub, installation of a shower stall, vanity and floor. As a Condo owner that resides in Ohio, I had complete confidence in Olde Florida completing the project according to specification, high quality and on time. The office staff is professional and has state of the art contracting, project management and billing systems that made the entire process simple for me. Hats off to Olde Florida, they get it, Quality and Customer service.

Jacob Carter and his team renovated not just one condo for us, but two! That would pretty much sum up, how satisfied I was with his work. Jacob is very much a hands on contractor. He showed up when he said he would, he kept on schedule and he always maintained open communication about exactly what I wanted the remodel to look like.

Olde Florida Contracting created a lovely two bedroom apartment that would serve as a home for my mother who is 90 years old. They took great care to insure that every area was accessible and safe for an elderly person. The contractor looked over and reviewed my drawings making several suggestions to improve the comfort and livability of the home. Through out construction the contractor made sure that I was involved and knowledgeable of the progress that was being made, What a great experience. I will always call Olde Florida Contracting, Inc. to take care of all my building and construction needs.

Olde Florida Contracting removed and re-built fireplace using new piping, a new firebox, and stacked stone facing on three sides from floor to ceiling in living room. Removed old kitchen appliances, cabinets, sink, old pantry, including doors and wall and installed an entirely new kitchen, including cabinets, lighting, quartz counter tops, glass tile backsplashes, a new pantry section, sink and appliances. The fireplace and kitchen turned out perfect. All workman were professional and polite. Jacob Carter enjoys his work, its written all over his face. Next year we will have Olde Florida back for two bathrooms. ,

We requested a bid from Olde Florida Contracting for our kitchen remodel. Jacob Carter provided us with a detailed bid and explanation of services he would provide. Jacob followed the process of the remodel every step of the way - his crew was dependable and did excellent work. Chrissy and the office staff were helpful and provided electronic communication and billing invoices. I would hire them again with no hesitation. They were a pleasure to work with and my kitchen is beautiful.

We hired Olde Florida Contracting in October 2013. Jacob Carter only uses the best subcontractors so we are very happy with the remodelling job they did in our home in Punta Gorda. With any remodel, there are problems that are not foreseen that occur. That was true of this project as well. The true test of a contractor is how they handle those problems and Jacob, and his crew excelled in this area. We gutted the great room, kitchen, foyer, and guest bath. There was quite a bit of demo and construction involved, including removing 1100 square feet of tile and reinstalling the tile. The "tile guy" that Jake uses is an artist named John. He does impeccable work. We are so happy with him that we have hired him for a "follow on" job. The cabinet installer Carlo is the happiest person I have ever met. Such a pleasant person to work with!!! He is an artist as well with a real "eye" for making everything look wonderful. He built a custom cabinet from cabinet panels that were left over and it is fabulous. Jacob said we'd be done by Christmas and we were! Couldn't be happier...Hire them.

I can not say enough good things about Olde Florida Contracting. Every professional person that was brought in for our project was on time, courteous, and thoughtful of our home and surroundings. Even our neighbors were impressed with the care they took around our home. Would definitely bring them in on other projects. We couldn't be happier with our master bath and bedroom project.

Used Olde Florida Contracting, Inc. for my remodelling job. Jacob was on time and very professional when we went over the bid. He spent hours one day reviewing what we wanted to do. He brought his subs with him so we could talk to them. His quote was accepted. Olde Florida Contracting remodelled my great room, kitchen, replaced a door, fixed my sliding glass doors, removed and replaced 1100 square feet of tile, remodelled my guest bath, and moved plumbing and electrial lines. They started in October of 2013 and finished in December of 2013. They adhered to the schedule we agreed on and were awesome to work with. Every one of his subcontractors was a quality craftsman. They showed up when they said they would and did great work. Whenever you remodel, you run into things you don't expect. Jacob found solutions for the surprises that happened on this project. I love my new kitchen and the great room as well. The guest bath is beautiful and people have come and taken pictures of my house to use for their remodel. Nice to meet and deal with someone who meets the deadlines and answers the questions.
