I had never worked with a designer before. Gabriella was my first. She was very patient with me and incredibly helpful. I purchased an older home that was screaming for an update. I did not know it was screaming for Gabriella's help. Now that we are done, I live in a beautiful modern home that balances luxury with coziness. Not sure how she does it, but she is a magician with style. I especially liked that when we walked into stores for decorating goods such as tile, flooring, plumbing, etc., the sales people all knew her and greated her warmly. She held my hand throughout this difficult process and assured me after the demolition that "it would be alright." I held my breath and trusted her. She did not disappoint. To the contrary, I am so very thankful she came my way and agreed to take me on as her client. I cannot recommend her enough. I also want to mention that she has excellent follow up skills and nothing, I mean nothing, gets past her. She follows up on even the smallest details to complete a large project.

She was able to help us navigate the process of furnishing our condo from across the country which we thought would be more difficult than it was. She stayed within our budget while providing valuable insight as well as being on sight for delivery of furniture. Small missteps occurred ( not unexpected) but in the end were fixable. Gabrielle was a game changer in designing our new bathroom and bedroom suite. She suggested removing windows that totally reimagined our huge, spectacularly beautiful and wonderfully useful shower. I've been working with Gabi at Park Avenue Design for several months on two remodeling jobs in my townhouse. The first was a complete rework of a 2-room space including a galley kitchen and dining area. The other is an ongoing remodel of two bathrooms. Gabi has a flair and energy for the design work. She suggested many options, making clear her preferences while listening and incorporating my must-haves and preferences. This was the first time we had ever used an Interior Designer and was very nervous about the whole process and cost. We interviewed a few designers but we instantly felt at ease with Gaby and we are so happy with the end results!!! Gabi is excellent at formulating and coordinating all elements of design, both interior and exterior, and she has great experience with high-end materials. She designed our new house from the floor plan stage to furnishing each individual room, and within the realm of design, she definitely has the "gift". She probed to understand our priorities and matched the design to what we envisioned. Our rooms have a smooth and comfortable feeling that is hard to describe (some call it chi), but it is something you definitely feel when a room has it. We have gone on dozens of shopping trips with her, and always, she questions us about priorities, and then knows exactly where to find our style of items. She coordinated 20 different paint colors in one house, and the rooms flow seamlessly from one to another. She has designed other property for us with the same results every time. Her style is to find out our needs, lead us to it, adjust some variables, and then, install and carry to completion. She is exceptional at formulating a motif, drawing plans and specs, and helping us “see” it before money is spent. We went against her recommendation twice, and had to re-do both of those items; and subsequently, her original choices fit perfectly. In short, Gabi is an expert in interior design; she has the formal education, breath of knowledge and years of experience required to perform exceptionally.
