Sam promised the best flooring installation we have ever seen. And he was right. He first helped us to choose the right material - we were looking for engineered wood flooring of a particular kind and width. The kind of flooring that other "big box" stores here in Houston did not have in their inventory. The big-box sales person's answer was always "if that's what you want, we are waiting for new samples" or "just sold the last box." We continued our search and finally, walked into Sam's store on Richmond Avenue. Sam showed us just what we wanted, And he did have exactly what we had in mind, and for a reasonably fantastic price. Then, the install was done professionally, quickly, and exactly as Sam directed - so we now have a beautiful floor. My wife is very, very pleased. Peace at last. Thank you Sam!

We had our entire hardwood floor replaced which can cause some obvious stress in the system. Nick from Petra Flooring & Blinds went out of his way to ensure we have the correct information on hand to make a decision. As a result, we actually split our floor into two area, i.e. hardwood floor and another area which was tiled. The execution of installing the floor and tiles went flawless by being on budget, on schedule and meeting or exceeding our expectation in regards to quality. The level to detail was amazing. "Petra Flooring Blinds and Cabinets LLC is a very well run organization. After initial contact to discuss a master bath remodel project, Nick was at the house in a matter of days to take measurements and help us plan the job. We visited the well-stocked Richmond Avenue showroom to pick our materials and were given a written quote before we left, as it had been prepared, pending tile selection. The work started exactly on schedule and the installation team was on time, friendly and clean. Their attention to detail was exceptional. Nick returned to do a final inspection of the job, which was completed per the original estimate in 3 days. Our project with Petra Flooring was a complete success."
