Before finding Sophia, we were looking to find someone to just reface our display cabinets (at our bakery) and add a sneeze guard. When talking with her, she opened our eyes to so much more. She has the ability to envision spaces and bring them to life at a whole new level, within a very reasonable budget. She first asks for your budget, and she plans out what she is able to do with it. She puts together diagrams and shows you samples of the type of materials she is interested in using. Once she gets your approval, the transformation begins. For us, she had to squeeze as much as she could in one day per week (our bakery is closed on Mondays). So, our lobby slowly transformed from week to week. It was exciting to come back to work each Tuesday and see the progress unfold. Each little detail brought happiness to our eyes. The end result was amazing! Sophia and her Dad (he is a carpenter) are truly talented individuals. I can't thank them enough for all they have done!!

I used Expressive Interiors to build a custom wine shelf. The shelf turned out beautiful and we have received nothing but compliments! Sophia was extremely easy to work with, showed up on time and delivered the product within the estimated timeframe. The paint job on the shelf was of the highest quality and you can tell she took pride in her work. We love it and would use her again without hesitation.

Sophia is supremely talented, with an eye for detail and the patience to make it all come together. You will most certainly love any room or project or home design or re-design you hire her for. We've worked with Sophia several times, starting with just one (large) room, then a professional office, and most recently furniture and decor for (nearly) an entire 4BR home. She can customize, build, sew, hammer, cut and perfect anything. She was able to get professional discounts on several large and expensive pieces of furniture, which we very much appreciated. She can also work with or around any ideas you have or pieces you need integrated. Really artistic and amazing... I've had plenty of raving comments about how the house looks now, and we truly love coming home. What more could you ask?

My name is Angela and I hired Sophia to build a replica of the peanuts Charlie brown booth for my son's ninth birthday. She went beyond my expectations and did a fabulous job! She made an exact replica of Lucy's psychiatric booth and even personalized it with my son's name and a motivational quote by Charlie Brown.! The expression on my son's face was priceless and I will NEVER forget the joy that this brought to him on his special day. Sophia created it from great quality wood and built it from scratch ...I was very impressed with the timely manner that she created the project. Thank you Sophia ,we appreciate the time you took to personalize this for our son and for making it so fun!

After living in our house for numerous years, the one part of the house that was neglected was our backyard. Though it has a good amount of space, it always needed work and I never knew exactly what to do. After meeting Sophia, I was impressed and excited on what the backyard could turn out to be. She shares ideas on how we could design and revamp the backyard into a beautiful and functional outdoor living space. She asked for our color and design preferences, as well as a lot of questions about who we were, our daily lives and what we wanted from our final space. We have a large family and often have family gatherings. The newly designed backyard has now allowed us to move many of our functions from the indoor to the outdoor setting. Everyone loves it! Sophia created a kids area with chalkboards and games to keep the engaged, while the adults are able to lounge near the custom made fireplace! Sophia even took the time to make handmade stepping stones with the kids, that they got to decorate. The backyard is now a relaxing, beautiful and most of all functional space that my family will get to enjoy for many years to come. Thank you Xpressive Interiors!
