Trish poured so much work and talent into our renovation project. She made things fun and happy, which was deeply appreciated in a situation where so many decisions are being made. She came up with great ideas, and listened carefully to our reactions and our ideas. She paid attention to the small details that make things special. Our "new" rooms (kitchen, dining, and downstairs bath) are not only beautiful, but also work better for us in so many ways. (Because Trish is so attentive and observant, she came up with a concept that motivated us to make changes to the dining room, which we had not even planned to do.) We feel incredibly lucky to have had her help and guidance--it was a true gift to work with her. She is a great designer--and a great person!

Trish and her team were fantastic on our master bathroom. Trish helped us pick out tile, faucets and lighting. Which may sound easy but to make it look good, Trish is an expert. The construction team (Housmith) did a perfect job in all aspects. This is not a one day and done construction company. Tile looks perfect and used Schulter tile system before any tile was laid down. Just perfect. The whole crew was knowledgeable and friendly. Our bathroom needed to have a revised footprint. We had a huge jetted tub and a little bitty shower tucked in alongside the toilet. It was a very awkward design. Trish designed and Housmith constructed our new design. We were told construction would take 6-8 weeks; work was finished in about six weeks except for mirrors and glass for shower surround, which were met with a back order delay and a wait for our turn at the glass supplier. Trish and the Housmith guys were terrific to work with. They were all very capable and it was no problem having them in our home throughout the construction. We love it.

We worked with Trish for the first floor remodel of our home. The house was very outdated and the remodel extensive-walls were removed, kitchen reconfigured, door frames added and adjusted, fireplace resurfaced, etc. Trish was paramount in the process and the ultimate final design. She knew just the right questions to ask us to get us thinking about all the details we might have overlooked or regretted later. My husband and I have a distinct modern style, but wanted it to have a slight nod to the traditional. Trish beautifully helped us capture the blend. We had full confidence working with her, and got to a point where we didn’t want to see options, because we trusted Trish would pick the best option for us. Trish redesigned my kitchen, combining a small dark 70’s kitchen and an even smaller dark dining room, and transformed the spaces into my oasis kitchen She had a wonderful way of “hearing” me even when I didn’t know exactly what I was saying/what I wanted. She listened as I shared how I wanted to feel in my new kitchen. She was responsive to my needs for a space that was functional, open and yet could reincorporate old with new. Trish designed multiple options and interpretations, expanding the vision of what my kitchen could become. Trish was able enhance my understanding of a design with diagrams, photos, physical samples and even a visit to finished kitchen. For me, one with trouble making decisions, difficulty visualizing and needing time to think things over, that was critical. She was always positive and able to find ways to adapt and create even with the unexpected! Actually, making the unexpected become one of the best ideas of all! Trish created a design that was reflective of me, of the space and the possibilities. She transformed a standard small outdated kitchen and dark dining room, opening the wall to create a light-filled space that feels welcoming and open, functional and unique. She combined old with new, integrating textures and color, calm and exciting, and a sense of transparency, all at once. I wish Trish could put her eyes and heart in to every space of my house, because I know she would help my home become more reflective of its potential beauty!

Trish was awesome. She provided a wonderful design, and then patiently answered every question and explored every alternative I came up with, and in the end we went with her original design. I should have just taken her first recommendation, it was absolutely the right one. Both my kitchen and bath are gorgeous, and everyone remarks how cool both rooms are. I hired Trish to update kitchen countertops and remodel the master bath. She listened to me well. I requested she present me 3 choices from which to select the kitchen countertops and countertops and tile in the master bath. I liked her recommendations. Also I really like the fixtures she chose. She did a thoughtful (limited) redesign of the master bath The crew did a good job on installation. Since it was a remodel, they kept the dirt to a minimum (although it still was dirty) and cleaned up each day. Both the kitchen and the bath turned out excellent and I would use her again.

Trish helped us plan an update to our 30 year old kitchen using the existing space. She was both very enjoyable to work with and very professional and creative in responding to our concerns. Trish was able to reimagine our existing space to create a new kitchen that is both very attractive and far more functional (e.g., relocating all major appliances to one wall, thereby opening up a much needed and very aesthetically pleasing counter space along the other wall). Trish also added unique touches, including an eye-catching contrasting tile pedestal base for our new kitchen peninsula. Although the size of our kitchen hasn’t changed, our new kitchen looks and feels much more spacious and is dramatically more striking in appearance. We have received tons of compliments from everyone who has seen our new kitchen!

Loved working with Kitchen Kraft and Trish. Trish put together an awesome design and selection of materials for our kitchen/bathroom/laundry project. Walls were removed, floors, cabinets, doors and counters installed and the lighting added the final touch. The Kitchen Kraft team made it easy. Trish demonstrated skills throughout the project that led to success! The following list of critical success skills are just the high points. - Communication skills were exemplary: requirement specifications were collected from me on phone, at my condo (site of project), and at her office. - Ability to listen to me describe my desired end state and design exactly if not better than I could have imagined. She suggested materials that worked beautifully together while helping me work directly with the granite supplier and installer. - Budget. Inquired of the budget we wanted the project to come in at and kept me informed of various material differences and what the project final cost would be throughout the project - Project liaison - Occasionally I had questions and just didn't know who to go to. Trish was so impressive how quickly she would get back to me, collect details and I knew I would have immediate response from the proper team member. She would always follow up to make sure I was satisfied. Trish had every project skill that I know of and was superior at all skills that were demonstrated. If I were ever to need a similar project I would most definitely request Trish.

Trish was a true professional, she is creative, easy to work with and was always available to us. She created a design to open up our kitchen into our dinning room providing us additional cabinet space we desperately needed. Trish Takacs is the absolute best!! The first time I met her I knew she was the right person for us!! I consider her not just our kitchen designer, but a true friend! Trish really takes the time to get to know you and that shows in the work she does! When she looks at the space you are remodeling, you can tell immediately her instincts kick in and her mind starts racing with ideas! Those ideas (that you will love immediately btw) become reality! My husband and I are so happy with our kitchen that I have even said I wanted to sleep in it just so I could wake up with it being the first thing I see!! This woman is a visionary! Trish turned our mid-century, hardly functional kitchen into the best room in the house! She had expert knowledge of materials, designs, hardware, appliances, and processes. Trish gave use several choices on layout which was really important to us. We didn't know what would "work" in the space we had, but she came up with at least 3 - 4 ideas. If you don't trust your own style, Trish's taste is impeccable! We really enjoyed working with her and would again in a heartbeat.

Trish has a keen eye for tasteful design and allows her clients to drive the style while helping provide recommendations along the way. She made herself available for questions that I would deem outside of her role - such as paint colors for an adjoining room to ensure everything is cohesive. We are very pleased with our end product and appreciate Trish's support and skill along the way.

I met Trish at a home improvement show and I knew right away that we could work together to create my new kitchen. We first met at my house so she could see my decorating style, color scheme and dimensions of my current kitchen. I had researched Houzz for ideas which helped both of us determine the style I wanted. Trish then created an initial design and we met at their showroom. Her knowledge of my style and wish list helped me pick out the cabinets, flooring, granite and appliances. It was so much fun! At our next meeting she presented a software presentation of what my kitchen would look like using my selections. Over several meetings Trish presented many options and guided me to select what was within my budget. With her pleasant personality and her designer experience I knew Trish and Kitchen Kraft was the right choice! Her ongoing communication and follow up was vital in moving the project along. Overall, from our first meeting to completion of my new kitchen it took just 4 1/2 months. I am so pleased with the results! My new kitchen is exactly as I had imagined! Thanks Trish for everything!

We contracted for a complete kitchen remodel. Our experience from beginning to end was fantastic. We loved working with our designer, Trish. Tim and Greg (our contractor and team lead) were on time, clean and efficient. We were operating under a deadline and they were on the same page with me during the entire process. Our new kitchen was complete and ready to go on graduation day and we had a fabulous party to show it off.
