We engaged the services of Paul Turzio to renovate the apartment we use as an office. After researching a number of companies, we found him to be the most creative, communicative, and downright inspiring contractor we could find. He had many design ideas all throughout the process. We wound up doing this project in the middle of CoVid. Every website had warnings that there would be delays, but Paul made decisions to purchase early so they would be waiting for us when we were ready for them. He encouraged us to do more with the waiting/living room, and we were so glad he did. It simproved the room’s effect. His custom “millwork,” are big improvements including a fold-up table that hides the radiator and added more space where we needed it. It was a pleasant working relationship. As therapists, we felt good about his conflict resolution, because it enabled us to keep on target and get the work done. There are some contractors with whom we’ve worked in the past where we’d never have lasted this long in a good working relationship. As it happened, we worked with Paul for a year, and stayed friendly throughout. He’s authentic, smart, creative, and listens to what customers want.

Paul's team was excellent - showed up on time, with lots of good ideas, high level of engagement and just generally very lovely to work with. They installed a new bathroom (and helped quite a bit with design) as well as some other clean up and a built in elsewhere in our apartment. We would be happy to work with him again!

Paul Turzio has done an excellent job with our kitchen renovation from initial planning discussion meetings to the finishing line. This was our first time doing renovation, and naturally we were a bit nervous about it. Talking with Mr. Turzio regarding what options we had within the budget we had set put that feeling at ease and we felt that we were in good hands. All the questions were promptly answered. Our needs and wishes regarding the design and materials were carefully reflected and fine-tuned through great ideas and advises provided by Mr. Turzio. He has a great sense of what works and what does not, as well as a fine sense of aesthetic and flexibility, all of which reflects his experience and expertise. What was once a simple and rough kitchen has now turned into a beautiful modern one. We also hired Mr. Turzio to do a custom-built book shelf unit in the living room for our antique collection and some books. It was a same great and satisfying experience.

Paul and his company have crafted two custom pieces for me over the last few years. Both have been impressively well-done, but the second piece is a showstopper. The Murphy Bed/Desk has bookshelves on the side, with the desk folding down without having to take so much as a piece of paper off of it. It's exactly what I wanted to create the most versatile 2nd bedroom, office when I need it, guest room when my friends and family are in town. It's perfect. The wood is the highest quality, the stain - precise. Installation for the piece took two days, and I appreciate every second of care Paul's team took. I highly recommend working with Paul and his team to bring your vision to life, if your experience is like mine, you cannot be disappointed.

The Honey-Do Guys painted our apartment & it looks great! There were many holes in the walls & they were able to repair them. They also were kind enough to hang lighting fixtures. This is the second painting job they did for us & both times they've exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them. Very courteous & professional!

Paul Turzio of "Ideas & Solutions", owner, designer & contractor, totally remodeled the kitchen and bathroom (down to the wall studs) in an apartment I own in the West Greenwich Village, long distance while he & I communicated via e-mail & phone from California. Paul was terrific to work with: always polite, full of practical design ideas, yet very respectful of my wishes, returning all of my phone calls and e-mail questions 24/7 and sent photos along the way. He provided great vendor sources for me to pick out cabinets, appliances, plumbing fixtures and countertop stone and splashes, as well as helping with paint colors and hardwood floor choices. New kitchen and bath ceiling fan vents were installed, as well as all new recessed LED lighting and a few mini-pendant lights for the kitchen counter. I highly recommend Paul for his talent, his vision and his professionalism and budget mindedness and getting the job done as scheduled with beautiful results, as I had flown out to Manhattan to inspect the apartment when it was completed. It rented out immediately, needless to say. You can truly trust Paul to do what he commits to do with precision & gusto!

I had a powder room vanity made. It turned out beautifully. Paul gives the highest level of attention to his customers. This company is one of the few in the NYC area that can make smooth rounded corners on furniture. Nothing cookie cutter about them. The item was made exactly to my specifications. The finish and workmanship is high end. Most importantly, measurements are accurate. Delivery and installation were on time, and done with care. I'm glad I chose this company for my vanity.
