We had a wonderful experience working with Rachael on the redesign of our primary bedroom and adjoining bonus room. She took the time to understand our style, goals, and budget. She helped us transform our bedroom by replacing a horrible existing barn door with a pocket door, recommended paint colors that completely changed the space's feel, and guided us toward accessories and furnishings that gave us the look we wanted without overspending. I loved working with Rachael. I was discouraged after calling around to a couple big designers in Dallas who were only interested in new builds or whole-home remodels. Rachael Elise Design was a goldilocks fit. She immediately understood the look and feel I was going for in my home office, and I was endlessly impressed with her speed and efficiency. Four stars instead of five because the project took eight weeks, rather than the three initially quoted, and came in 37% over budget.

We hired Rachael to completely redo our master bathroom--best decision ever! We interviewed multiple professionals and she had the most innovative design and was able to deliver the most high end finishes within our budget. She also GC'd for us and the project was finished on time and on budget (except for minor delays and charges due to our personal decision to make last minute changes). Now our bathroom is truly a sanctuary. We plan to use Rachael again for our eventual kitchen remodel, and we recommend her to anyone needing design or GC help.

Rachel helped me with my master bathroom remodel. It was my first bathroom remodel and I was so overwhelmed with all the decision making that I knew I needed an interior designer. Rachel guided me through the process which helped me tremendously narrow down all the material choices. She recommended a reliable and high-quality contractor and I am super happy with the result. There were some hiccups along the way (as expected with any remodel) but overall I am really happy with how everything turned out and I wouldn't have been able to get there without Rachel.

Rachael is a complete master of her craft. My husband and I bought a new build and were really hoping for help making it feel like home. Rachael is fantastic to work with. I wanted an elevated but comfortable vibe. And she nailed it. Whites. Brushed brass and warm light oak. Makes for a zen environment. And last she’s fast. Having done stuff like this before it’s easy to get paralysis by analysis. But she keeps it moving which for someone like me is exactly what I’m looking for. Highly recommend!

I have really enjoyed working with Rachael! She is very professional, responsive, and punctual. She did a great job designing our home. I am loving how everything is coming together. I normally like paint colors on the lighter side to make a room feel bright, but she encouraged me to keep an open mind. We painted our powder bathroom a dark green and my husband’s office a dark blue and both spaces look fantastic! I also love that she works with great contractors who can assist with painting, electrical work, etc. This kept me from having to search for someone to complete tasks that we needed to have done. I also liked that I can schedule appointments in 15 minute increments because a full appointment isn’t always necessary. I highly recommend Rachael for any interior design project! I will reach out to her in the future when it’s time for a refresh!

She is so talented and comes to my rescue any time I need to make a decision I’m having a hard time with, she always knows exactly what to do and our interior looks fantastic. The way she works is also extremely flexible, you can do as little as a 15 minute text appointment or you can do a full blown design appt where she will sit with you and put together an entire room. She even came over and white washed my CB2 Cradenza for me that came in a more yellow color than I wanted. The dresser looks AMAZING! She’s truly the best, you cannot go wrong with hiring her. I highly recommend Rachel for any remodel project big or small. I was looking for paint colors in my local Sherwin Williams store and became overwhelmed with the choices. It was close to closing time and I asked the associate if he knew of any interior designers and he gave me Rachel’s name. I met with Rachel and instantly knew I had found the person to walk me through my bathroom remodels. I never felt rushed when working with Rachel, she took her time to go over her design ideas and together we came up with a plan. Rachel and I both went to a tile shop and spent several hours picking out tiles for each of my bathroom remodels. We picked out hardware, light fixtures, mirrors and a bathtub. I absolutely love all the choices we made. Rachel then suggested a contractor who she kept in close contact with to ensure the bathrooms were on budget and on schedule and would notify me if there were any deviations. The bathrooms are awesome and through the entire project I felt like I was Rachel’s only client. She really took this project to the finish line.

Rachael did an amazing job with my living room. I sent her the measurements with a picture and she was able to build a fully decorated 3D model based on some ideas I sent her. I was beyond impressed!! I have a hard time picturing how items will look in a room and so I would send her items I found to review. She was able to place them to scale in my 3D modeled room so I could see exactly how it would look. With all of this help I was able to know exactly what I wanted without having to purchase and deal with the dreaded return of it didn’t work. Rachael even FaceTimed with me while I was out shopping to help me think through items in real time and make sure I was getting the best price. I have been able to redo my entire living room within the budget I set and it will look high end!
