We truly cannot say enough about Michael and Marli. From the first inquiry meeting, they stood out to us. They cared about our budget and made clear that their work would be structured in phases and that they could be as involved as we wanted. Their work is stunning and they (plus designer Bryanna) completely understood what we wanted. And they were a joy to work with (even when we were the annoying clients who pushed for things to be done ASAP). As our project progressed, we ended up cutting an entire room from their scope. They could not have been more gracious about the change. In the end, their work was beautiful and right on schedule. My only regret is that I haven’t been able to hire their team to handle every room in our house. I hope to work with them again on another project in the near future.

We worked with Marli for over 15 months while our townhouse was being built. She was part of the process from Day One and made it enjoyable and fun! She used existing pieces and mixed in interesting and affordable furniture, artwork, and accessories to give us a beautiful yet comfortable home. We were totally in sync every step of the way. We are thrilled with our new gorgeous home and look forward to working with Marli again in the future!

My husband and I were looking for a pied a terre in the city. We found the perfect location (wide views of Lake Michigan and the city) but it hadn't been touched since it was built in 1965. We contacted Rebel House Design to help translate what we imagined into reality. Marli far exceeded our expectations with her knowledge of construction, ability to work effectively with our contractor and her incredibly creative approach. She is gifted in her approach of mixing contemporary and vintage pieces as well as finding exception art to fill the walls and touch our souls. I was referred to Rebel House by my sister. I live in Texas and we were buying a 10 year old home that needed updating. Marli was amazing! She took the time to get to know me and what we wanted for our new home. Marli stayed within our budget, yet was able to find unique pieces that kept us from being "cookie cutter". The end result was amazing. Our kitchen, in particular, is beautiful. If I post any pictures online and the kitchen is visible, I get rave review about it. She worked with what we liked and took it several levels beyond that. The rooms we completed with the help of Rebel House were dining, kitchen, breakfast room, family room, and half bath. Marli worked with the existing furniture that I wanted to keep and had fabulous recommendations for complementary pieces - mixing stock and custom to give the areas a totally custom look. The lighting pieces she found were amazing and yet, they didn't put us over budget. I will definitely call upon Marli and Rebel House design again when we are ready for our next project.

My husband and I are completely impressed with the quality, expertise, and creativity of Marli’s work. We have so enjoyed working alongside Marli and truly appreciate the value of having a professional involved in the process. She has a beautiful way of implementing her ideas without stripping any of our own personality from the home.
