I have known Regina for almost 13 years. She worked on our first home in downtown Charleston. She completed a full kitchen and bath remodel. She was very talented in restoration of historical homes and with spacial challenges. She made the space functional and timeless. She works deligently with your budget and is very creative in finding a way to repurpose items and areas of your home. We loved working with Regina and her team. I was so pleased with her work that I knew we would use her again. We used Regina's talents again when we moved into our second home. We wanted to make a few spaces more functional and updated. She never disappoints. I reconnected with Regina in 2014 when we planned to build our new home. I knew I wanted to get Regina on board early during the construction phase. I had a vision of what I wanted the house and the rooms to portray. Regina knows my style, tastes and thinking pattern. She helps me think outside the box and find selections and combinations that are unique. I love how Regina can combine color and patterns with such ease. The rooms flow from one to the other due to the color choices, furniture designs and beautiful rugs and artwork. She helped visually mesh the inside of the house with the outside scene of the Wando River. She can help create your vision using her vast knowledge, skills, creativity and her endless contacts. We met Regina Garcia when embarking upon the largest and most significant build project of our life. Our retirement home. The project took over 2 years from start to finish. Choosing a design professional is an extremely personal and critical decision when starting any design project. After interviewing eight highly regarded, accomplished and recommended professionals we chose Regina Garcia Design. In doing so we got a designer who was able to create a home which bought our past and future design styles together in a gorgeous and cohesive manner. Regina possesses a skills beyond the norm in her craft. In choosing her we received a bonus we didn’t even realize or expect at first. She was and is an integral member of the team always willing to help. She assisted in managing the build process, set pricing models, was able to help the trades when they faced form or function challenges, created the punch lists and help to manage them. She always kept our budget in mind and helped us to value engineer when and were we could. Her resources are vast, vetted and provided high quality craftsmanship. They worked as she does with passion and the highest level of integrity and pride of workmanship. It was her relationship with a wide array of trades which enabled us to create a home which is custom and reflects precisely what we wanted within our budget. During any design project as large as building a new home there are moments of challenge or times when the vision is not clear. Regina listens, she thinks, she sketches, she ponders and then she brings forth options. Things may evolve but in the end our home is beautiful, warm, welcoming and functional. There is a consistent flow and thread which runs through the house bringing each element together. Each choice is deliberate and well thought out. Regina and I worked closely to express our vision. Her belief is each home should reflect the owners style and grace. When looking at her portfolio it was evident to me immediately that she holds a special talent. If you are looking for someone to work hard, truly care about you and a home which is uniquely yours she is the design professional I would choose every time. She is not a ‘cookie cutter designer’. She is special and will bring that creativity to your project should you choose her too.

My husband and I hired Regina Garcia Design to undertake the complete renovation of our 1847 historic home in downtown Charleston SC. Regina Garcia made the process exciting, fun and informative, as well as completely stress-free! Every room in our home underwent a complete transformation. Beautiful original moldings were salvaged from the home, restored, and then reinstalled throughout. Regina was able to introduce 2 new fireplaces with historic mantles to complete the woodwork. The kitchen was transformed from a 70's dated style into one with top of the line Wolf and Sub Zero appliances, custom cabinetry designed by Regina, brick flooring and a new full pantry. She was able to give us exactly what we wanted. What was once a single bath on the upper level was renovated to include a full master bath with separate water closet room, custom double vanity and large walk-in shower with reclaimed historic accent "knot" tiles from England. A new half bath was also added that includes fluted molding original to the house as wainscoting. The bedroom remodel revealed a spacious and light-filled master suite with a new fireplace, exposed beams and brick walls. Regina also provided the design, ordering and installation of all new furnishings and window treatment throughout the entire home. With Regina's skills as a certified kitchen and bath designer, space planner, and her extensive experience with wood moldings and trim, we were able to forego the added expense of hiring of an architect. Regina worked closely with the contractor and tradesman to ensure quality construction and timely completion. She also worked diligently to deliver what we wanted within our budget. Regina brought a level of expertise and competence that put us at ease from day one. She was able to carefully listen to our ideas and vision for color, texture and style, then incorporate her perspective and design experience into a fantastically seamless design that honored both the history and technical nature of the home as well as include updated features, finishes and furnishing. Regina challenged us to open our minds to a different way of thinking that enabled us to complete one of the most rewarding projects we've taken on, and now have a home that we are very proud to show off!

I have been working with Regina Garcia Designs for years. Very professional and easy to communicate with. Regina's projects are always fun to work on and I end up loving her design choices from the fabrics, to the paint colors, furniture selections, and of course the plumbing fixture selections. (I might be bias as I help her make those selections!) Regina is a problem solver who will find just the right products for her clients to make their design vision possible. She is an all around fabulous person to work with and I enjoy our interactions.
