San Diego Remodeling Pros

San Diego Remodel Pros recently completed a renovation of our kitchen and I couldn't be happier. Mike walked in and right away understood what we were looking to do and made suggestions we hadn't even considered. Working with his designer helped us select the right material with the end result being a kitchen that is absolutely amazing. Mike and his crew did a superb job and I will definitely reach out to him when we get to our next project.

We found San Diego Remodeling Pro’s at the Home show and Mike was one of three contractors we invited to the house. We were planning a remodel of the kitchen, dining, living and family rooms. Our 70’s era house needed lots of help to realize its potential. We found Mike to be an enthusiastic collaborator, he understood what we were trying to achieve; utilize the existing space more efficiently, maximize our views, create a cook’s kitchen and entertainers’ home. We found Mike to be easy to talk to and he really listened to us. When Mike and Susan created the CAD drawings to help us visualize the changes, we were so impressed and that sold us. They were both excellent at explaining the process and setting expectations. One part of this project was filling in a sunken living room, which we wanted to do, but we still had some reservations. Mike has experience doing that, as well as ‘aging in place’ expertise so he put those fears to rest, and we could not be happier with results. Susan is highly organized and was super helpful in staying focused on the vision with every design choice we had to make. We were on time and on budget with a final product that we love. Mike and his crew were super! This is the second time we have hired SD Remodeling Pros. I hate leaving the beautiful kitchen that he built for us 5 years ago, but we have moved and needed Mike to make our new house more comfortable for us. He built a beautiful master closet to our exact specifications, remodeled the master bedroom suite, built new cabinets in the dining and living rooms, installed a new bar, and replaced all of the handles on the existing cabinets for me when I couldn't do it. We are planning to have Mike back to remodel the kitchen in our new house. I am not very good at adding pictures, sorry.

I knew Mike was the right contractor for my job from the beginning. He was energetic and excited about my project and understood the concept that I was trying to put together. He had excellent ideas and has a great group of subcontractors he used throughout the job. He was always upfront about unexpected costs and was very fair with his pricing. The job turned out exactly as planned and has given my home an updated and beautiful new look.

Mike handled our entire home remodel project with professionalism and TLC from the beginning to its completion. He paid close attention to our ideas and vision and did everything he could to make it happen. He kept us informed of the work schedule so we could still live in our house and minimize problems during its construction. He met deadlines and worked within our budget. All of his subcontractors were professionals and very considerate of our space. The cabinetry is well-built and beautiful—rift-cut white oak with a natural stain. Susan Matanguihan, the Kitchen and Bath Designer, also, part of the team, helped us coordinate the colors and materials to achieve the look that we wanted. She walked us through the process and was there to answers our many questions. When all was said and done, Mike had remodeled the kitchen, pantry, two bathrooms, wet bar, painted all of the common areas, and replaced the ceramic floors with porcelain tile and replaced all of the dual-paned windows/doors throughout the house. So, now, our house has a fresh new updated look that we love. We highly recommend Mike and his team.

We are soooo THRILLED with our remodel!! Mike and his team did a Fabulous job and provided quality work and materials. He was great to work with! He was responsive, flexible and very trustworthy. He puts his customers first. We were so satisfied and impressed that we hired him without seeking competitive bids for a second project. He was on schedule on both projects. We would highly recommend Mike.

Full kitchen remodel, with a small addition. Mike was awesome. Definitely a lot of attention to detail. Would not leave well enough alone until it was perfect. Very reasonably priced. I would not let anyone else touch my home again. Decently spoiled.

Mike did an excellent job with our kitchen. He completed our project 1 week ahead of schedule and within the budget we had agreed upon. When he completed the project, the left the area extremely clean. He even cleaned the floors eventhough it was not part of the project. He is an honest person and every easy to work. I would definitely recommend him.

Mike and his crew were exceptionally professional and courteous throughout our kitchen remodel. The craftsmanship we got exceeded our expectations. His estimate was spot on and we had no "surprises" resulting in unforeseen additional costs. They completed our kitchen before the deadline and we are VERY happy with the quality of work San Diego Remodeling Pros did.
