When Sean Moore created Sean Moore Designs, he wanted to start an interior design company that went beyond decorating. The vision of Sean Moore Designs is to treat architecture and interior design as two parts of a whole and see each home or space as a completely open palette. This vision allows us to work closely with architects to bring the details of your living space into the architectural plans, allowing the interior design to flow from the structure of your home into the appointment of each room in your home. When the architecture, fixtures, finishing, furniture and accessories are planned to work together from the beginning, you get a home that is like a showcase yet fits you and is comfortable beyond compare. Sean is fantastic to work with. I originally hired him to help furnish an empty home, and after giving him some broad ideas of what I was looking for, he came back with 3 different styled furnishing themes. After choosing 1, he then set straight to work finalizing fabrics, accents, furniture, finishes, and everything else to get my home looking better than I ever hoped it would. I subsequently hired Sean again to work on an in-process bathroom project, and again, he's exceeding expectations.

Helen and I hired Sean to design the interior of our new-to-us Hatteras 53 Motor Yacht. We love the work he did. His layouts made optimal and flexible use of the relatively small spaces. His searches for furniture items with a small footprint were dogged and successful. He found pieces that appealed to our senses of style with fabric and surface options that created a color palette that we never would have imagined, but that we love. Sean was sensitive to our budget, never asking us to consider options that would have been budget busters. He is fun to work with to boot! We would recommend him for any project you might undertake.

As I have told Sean many times, his design work was LIFE CHANGING! He was able to figure out furniture and arrangements that maximized the little space that we have. He has a highly unusual ability among designers to truly listen to me as his client, tailoring his designs to my desires, while also providing me with great new ideas and a level of taste I don't have myself. He knows what's on trend, but tends more toward timeless designs that won't look out of date in a few years. He has a superior color sense, pulling off some really difficult combinations for my project and tying together new and old elements. He is always on time, delivering samples and the like, making meetings and doing billing. Most important, he's a joy to spend time with and totally trustworthy, an all around great guy with a lovely personality and a total professional with amazing talent.

Sean Moore is an all around good catch for anyone looking for a designer. Sean is creative and talented. He has excellent listening skills and he's a good manager of time and money. Neither of us was able to be at the construction site and so we worked mostly over phone, email and texts for a period that spanned nine months. He coordinated work with our contractor and always followed up on details. He was instrumental in layout, design, and color selections. Sean met and exceeded my expectations in each category. I am very happy with my remodeling project that covered more than 2,100 square feet of space. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
