Semmes has been terrific. Jessica and Turko have been providing project planing and coordination for relatively complicated residential building and building site. They have helped line up and interview several excellent architects, arranged for engineering tasks, helped negotiate easements, provided preliminary building cost estimates, and a host of other helpful tasks. Their experience and expertise with all aspects of home building has been crucial to getting this project well underway. They work extremely well as team members and believe strongly in a team approach to home building, I have been very impressed by their professionalism and initiative.

We chose to hire Semmes and Company Builders because we felt they had the knowledge and experience to take on the very difficult and delicate task of refurbishing our 100 year old historical building. Turko Semmes and his staff of professionals, architects, engineers and sub-contractors worked tirelessly to make sure the building's historical exterior remained intact, while completely reinforcing the building from the foundation to the roof. They also upgraded the interior plumbing, electrical, heating and air, floors, walls, entrances and windows to meet current ADA and building code standards. They were always forthwith and honest when changes were needed, giving us alternative choices and budgets to work with. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the finished product and would certainly recommend Semmes and Company Builders for any new and/or restoration construction project.

I have done design work and custom cabinetry with Semmes on several jobs and I hold them in the highest regard. Their beautiful work speaks for itself. I have always been impressed with the professionalism of everyone at Semmes. I also love their dedication to green design done with style and creativity.
