I have known Seth Argo and the team at Focus Builders for years. I have been in numerous houses they’ve custom built, including for good friends. I’m consistently impressed with the soundness of construction and quality of finishes I see in these homes. I’m even more impressed with the feedback I hear from the people living in the homes. Building a house, especially a custom home, is a complex process, but Seth and his team make the clients feel involved and informed. Most importantly, the homeowners know that Focus Builders won’t leave until the job is 100% complete, and have a great warranty program after the sale. I’d trust Seth with any build, particularly at the top of the market, where it just has to be done right.

Focus Builders is an industry leader. My husband and I recently relocated from Los Angeles to Nashville. Being architecture and design enthusiasts with exacting standards, we were immediately drawn to the design, scale, and level of finish at the homes in Battery Square. We believed they were unique in the Nashville marketplace. We decided to purchase in Battery Square and have been thrilled with our decision. Not only has our home met our expectations in every way, but the level of service Focus provided has been exemplary. Focus assisted us with everything from getting to know the systems of the new house, to helping us haul away our moving boxes. No question or request was too small. Seth Argo and Mike Bush are consummate professionals who have the highest standards, and take great pride in the homes they build and the level of service they provide. I would absolutely purchase another home form Focus Builders, and they may in fact be the only builder I purchase from in Nashville.

In the summer of 2016, our family decided to purchase a spec home that was being built by Focus Builders. When we decided to purchase the home it was roughly 75% complete and while we loved their work we wanted to add many of our personal touches. As a result, what started off as a spec house for Focus Builders ended up being more like a custom house for us. Seth Argo, the owner of Focus Builders, and his Operations manager Brandon Ketchum were a pleasure to deal with throughout the project. Their staff was very professional and accommodating from the time we decided to purchase until the date when they finished our project with the last punch list. They were meticulous in their work and their desire to please us as a client exceeded our expectations. On top of all of the details I have listed, we finished the project within 3% of budget and the only reason we went over was because of some of the choices we decided to upgrade. Words do not do justice to describe how pleased we are with their work.

When permitting issues became quite complicated, Focus responded professionally with integrity and respect to all parties involved. We believe this resolved the problems much more quickly. Focus Builders constructed our new home in Nashville, TN. We were referred to Seth and his team by a family member who also built a home with Focus, and we had an absolutely fabulous experience. My wife and I have built one home and substantially renovated two others, and without question our experience with Focus was the best we've ever had. Their customer service, attention to detail and absolute commitment to our satisfaction at every phase of the project are unmatched. I can't recall a prior experience in which I wasn't dissatisfied with at least some aspect of the general contractor or his team at some phase of the project; our home with Focus is the exception. We never had a disagreement, and any time we raised questions or concerns, Seth was immediately and personally engaged to address them. In fact, Seth caught things at various stages of the construction that even we hadn't noticed, and he held his subcontractors to an exceedingly high standard in terms of ensuring all aspects of our home were as expected. Outside of a winter weather delay that was beyond anyone's control, we finished on time and on budget. We simply cannot say enough good things about the quality of Seth's design, craftsmanship and overall building experience. I would - and have - offered them my highest and unqualified recommendation and would absolutely build with them again.
