Sigura Construction recently installed hardwood flooring in our bedroom. (We had used Sigura a complete remodel in 2014.). The workers were friendly and diligent. Our room looks beautiful. The price was very competitive. And, as always, Ilan made sure to leave us with a perfect result—from the finish on the floor to all the wall painting and touch ups. I have done two major remodeling projects with Sigura Construction over the past three years. The first was an update of the kitchen and bathroom in my 1940s-era concrete-block house on the SF Peninsula. Sigura's estimate was detailed and fairly priced, taking into consideration the time that would be required for permit approvals and inspections (no easy feat during COVID). During construction, Ilan and his team communicated quickly and clearly whenever something came up that required a change order (you never know what you'll find behind 80-year-old wallboard...) They brought the project in on time and on budget, and we love the results. The second project was even more impressive. Last year my family was living in Europe on a temporary work assignment when our tenants brought to our attention to a mildew problem in the bedrooms, specifically on the inside of the exterior walls. This is not what you want to hear when you are 6000 miles away! Luckily we had Ilan. He proposed an ambitious project to insulate the exterior walls from the inside using closed-cell foam insulation, and at the same time to replace all the flooring he had not yet refreshed in the bath-and-kitchen job. We told him we had new tenants arriving in a few months and everything needed to be done before they arrived. Ilan was excited for the challenge. His team handled all the details, starting with moving all our furniture into a storage container in the driveway. Then, with impressive professionalism, they executed the project precisely on schedule—and that included all the typical unforeseen challenges, like when they discovered a layer of ancient linoleum under the existing parquet floor, or when we had to relocate an old gas line to bring it up to code. My family is truly grateful for the care and diligence of Ilan, Chris, and the entire Sigura team on this project. We arrived home a few weeks ago to what felt like a brand-new house, thanks to Sigura Construction. I highly recommend working with them.

My wife and I recently had a total kitchen remodel done by Sigura. This included new cabinets, appliances, lighting, electrical code upgrade, flooring, tile, and paint. We quoted several companies and decided on Sigura because their price was competitive, they are diamond certified, and they were willing to work within the constraints we laid out. The work crew was anchored by Jose and Miguel who were very responsible, knowledgeable and caring about the quality of work provided. As needed other subs were brought in (flooring, tile, countertop) but Jose was THE GUY who kept the job on track and up to standards. They did a great job in sealing off the construction area so that dust did not intrude on the rest of the house. From construction start to finish was seven weeks and considering the amount of work involved, we were pleased with this relatively tight timeframe.

Bathroom remodeling. Shower, tiles, sink and cabinet installation. Job done in time as been agreed, all done in perfect manner and follow up post job just to conform that all at satisfaction. Definitely will use him for my next project.

New grass, a beautifully paved walkway, a water fountain with a serene sound, and the most colorful flowers I've ever had! My bathroom is also better than what my original plans called for, and I'm so glad that the owner, Ilan, made the suggestion he did for the wall ledge in the shower. Such a functional feature, that eliminates the need for a plastic shower caddy to hold my shampoo and conditioner. And the combination of tile and hardwood flooring to distinguish between the family room and the rest of the house was such a great idea by Doug, the production manager. And the crew that worked at my house was clean and respectful. I am pleased as punch, and will definitely use Sigura Construction again, if ever another construction need arises!

I was a little concern at the beginning since is not a cheap project, but after interviewing a few G.C's I have to admit I made the best choice by hiring Sigura, my project is about 75% complete so as soon as is 100% I will update with some pictures.

Sigura just finish my kitchen remodel and they did a great job.. I'm actually thinking of giving them a new job for my rental property. If anyone wants to see pictures of my remodel I would be more than happy to share. They're very professional and the craftsmanship is fantastic!!

Our experience with Sigura Construction was the most stressful and painful. They did a major remodel in our house including a familyroom addition, bathroom, and kitchen update. Not only did Sigura overcharge and underdeliver, but they were late by months and workmanship was sub-par. Many things were done twice or more times due to lack of supervision. The owner refused to comply with the City of Palo Alto requirements for a gas pipe installation. This delayed the project by 38 days. When it came to cost his tactics were deceitful. He increased the cost of stucco after we had a written agreement. He left the project with numerous safety issues open like a wrongly installed tankless water heater and electric problems. The owner never admits mistakes and blames all the wrongs on his clients. We tried mediation and we followed all the appropriate steps to resolve the issue, but Sigura failed to comply. After more than a year that we started our project the City has not approved it and has a pending investigation regarding the tankless water heater.
